Yes the mixology will likely be Monday day 3 at 2 or 230 in the afternoon. So a sea day and before dinner. Pm meIs there still a group for the Mixology? My husband and I would be interested, do we have any of the details available yet, to make sure it doesn't conflict with dinner reservations.
My dw and dd11 are doing the 5kI was debating it (but would be more walking than running) but the only excursion we're interested in is at the docking time. Doesn't seem like I could.
We are going! This is our second time on the Fantasy and it was a blast. Would like to explore the DISboard to learn more on our upcoming cruise. It seems like a fun thing to doJust booked Fantasy March 26, 2016 for next year spring break for me, DH and DD This will be our 2nd cruise on the Fantasy. Can't wait until I can book airfare, WDW resort before and/or after, etc... Let the countdown begin 421 days and counting!
Anyone else joining us? Have not seen a meet and greet link yet Deck 9 was sold out
Total newbie to DCL here... do they do the CC 5K on EVERY cruise that docks here?? For some reason, I thought it was among the once a year ones! We're on the 3/26 sail and would consider doing this.Hi Everyone - just booked this cruise today. It will be my second time on the Fantasy and third Eastern. Excited to visit Tortola for the first time. I am also looking forward to the CC 5k - anyone else running with me?

Dining question as a newbie to cruising... If we miss our dinner seating because of the return time of an excursion, what are our options for dinner?? Room service?
THANKS!!!It seems to be offered on most of the cruises now a days. There was a special one offered this year and last called the castaway cay challenge but its combined with another RunDisney race and in 2016 it was only offered in January in combination with the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend.
Deck 11, Room Service, Palo or Remy for adults if you get reservations in advance.
AWESOME!! Yes!! My sister and I were joking that we could well end up with neck injuries not from running, but from all the medals!! LOL!Hey MickeyMinnieMom - I see you just did the Star Wars Light and are planning the Dark Side as Well! Me too!

Being a 7 night, yes. I have a source that reports:
Formal night is on Sunday and semi formal is on Thursday
Another newbie question... are the menus totally different on formal and semi-formal nights?
As a first-time cruiser, we were only able to book LATE, and the only decent night that I could get Remy for was Sun. We're not fond of getting all dressed up, so in that sense, great if it overlaps formal night! But if we're missing out on a great formal night menu at our regular rotational restaurant, maybe not so great?!
Also... would it be CRAZY to do our regular dining (main seating) with our kids and just get appetizers or something, then do Remy at our reserved 7pm??
Sorry - I wasn't clear at all! We have Main Seating, but since it's our first cruise I wasn't able to book ANYTHING like Remy, excursions, etc until very late so didn't have many options for Remy. The menus are different each night of the cruise. Even on a 14 night, I cannot recall them ever repeating a menu. I _believe_, but am unsure, the formal night has slightly fancier meals. Lobster maybe? I can't eat lobster so don't recall clearly. Personally, I wouldn't be too troubled by missing out on formal night if you're not into dress up. Personally, I wouldn't be too troubled by missing any of the particular menus. I do prefer not to miss the "show" in the restaurants. They often don't repeat them.
Unless I'm missing something, I'm confused about your last question. I thought you said you were on late dining (so am I because I didn't book early enough) so how would you do main seating and then a 7pm Remy? Either way, IIRC, main typically finishes around 730.
Thanks!! Good point about dinner for the kids at the kids club or room service... ... they are 11 and 9 and would probably love that. My only concern is missing the "show", I guess, at whatever restaurant we have that night since it will only be the 2nd night of the cruise. You can see the menus on the disneycruiselineblog for each night. They may not be exact for our cruise but it will give you an idea.
You will miss a rotational night with formal dress. If you do not want this when you get on board go to the Remy bookings and see if you can change it. Also keep checking people do cancel before the cruise.
Crazy? that's a personal question lol. If I was bound and determined to have the kids eats in the dining room I would probably would just let the kids eat and forgo the appetizers. You are stuffed when you leave. As a thought, I don't recall how old the kids are but my nephew (10) hates eating in the dining room because its boring. My stepdaughter the same when she was little. They both liked being given the choice because its a "special" night to eat with the kids club or up on deck or room service while they watched tv.
