Thanks! Now to sit and wait for another 8 days to find out where they are going to put me. I wanna know!!!!
Page one of this thread has a list. Looks like there is a Dream conference there 8th-13th.
I think that list is outdated--it says 2014.
Why are the walls so sparse? I was there in May for the first time; thought the grounds were lovely but the rooms were BORING! No artwork, nothing. What's up with that; seemed very unDisney.

FWIW, we've spent 50+ nights at CSR and there is only 3 buildings I would rather not be in.
Ranchos 6A, 6B, and 7A.
Are favorite locations are Cabanas 9B and Casitas 4. However, anywhere in Casitas or Cabanas is fine and we also had a nice stay in Ranchos 7B by the quiet pool as well.
Enjoy!!
No freezer and even on 6, the highest it goes stuff wasn't super cold.We are thinking of staying here next summer for our trip. Do the refrigerators have the small freezer portion in them? I love to take a frozen water bottle in with me and sip on it as it melts. Then I refill it and it has a large ice cube in the center for awhile. If there is no freezer I will need to buy a nice insulated cup, I guess. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Just out of curiosity, is that just because of the location? Or some other aspect of those buildings?

No way you are going to get water to ice up IMO
Oh well. I guess I'll have to buy something that keeps drinks cold for awhile. Thanks for the info!
Kleen Kanteen (I think that's how they spell it) or HydroFlask are both well regarded here for keeping beverages cold all day. I'll test my HydroFlask in about 70 days and let you know if you want

Are there disposable coffee cups (with lids) in the room so you can take your coffee with you, or should I bring my own? Thanks!

http://coronado.forumotion.com/t1242-csr-convention-listDoes anyone happen to know if there is a website that shows when/if conventions will be going on at Coronado? I will be there June 10-15
Thank you but we've been there twice and I just hate the look of ranchos to the point that I will cry at the desk if they want me to stay there. We were there one night and I asked to be moved the next day. For me I want something that appeals to me even if I have to walk a little further. I'm glad some of you like ranchos so you will take the rooms. It's just a personal preference. We've stayed at CSR 6 times with our 7th visit coming up in just 24 days. CSR is by far our favorite of all the WDW resorts. We love Casitas and Ranchos 6B. Even 6A is ok. The only building we don't like because of distance is 7A. Also Casitas 5 is way too far because you have to walk ALL the way around the lake. on distance alone, I'd pick Ranchos 6B over Casitas 5.... you cut through behind the Dig Site pool and to the walkway. As for Cabanas.... the proximity to El Centro and Dining is great... but we don't care for the theming there... would rather do Ranchos.
ADisneyQueen..... if they tell you Ranchos or Casitas ask which building AND what part of the building (where exactly the room is located) .... that can really make a huge difference IMHO. We would take one side of Casitas 5, but not the back side. Same wTh
