I know what you mean, Donald Quackers. I have 10 more sleeps to WDW and I'm already having trouble falling asleep.
Have a magical trip. I'll be down this weekend for 2 weeks, not sure when I can squeeze in the parks but I am sure I'll find the time.
I've found since going DVC that I've valued my time at the resort even more. The games that the cast members play at the pool, including the dominance of my sister and I in the Disney Trivia contest (even though there is usually one question that even has us scratching our heads).
This will be my first stay at Saratoga Springs. I want to stay at BCV next time I'm down on points.
I'd love to do a DVC member cruise, but they're always during blackout times...If they have another one in January, I may just go.
I've lived in my home for 29 years! Pretty much raised my kids there--had plenty of time to enjoy it And I'll enjoy it when I can't travel anymore! Actually, I'll be home now until the end of March when we sail to Mexico from San Francisco on the Grand Princess. I'm going to miss that tiny catamaran cabin thoughWelcome back, glad you had a great time. When do you have time to enjoy your home.....
You can use your points to visit the original Magic Kingdom in Anaheim! We have been enjoying the resorts as well. We go so often that we don't have to rush and squeeze in all the parks each visit.
Although now that we are moving down there we are little sad that we won't be staying in the resorts anymore since we are so close. But we are happy we can go whenever we want. Just leaves the points for other travel options with RCI.
I love St Maarten..so what did you guys do? How was the weather?
I really need to retire, but I have a few years to go yet....a good 8...so that lets ya all know how old I am.... But Wally is 2 years younger than me...(yes I robbed the cradle) so we wont be doing a lot of traveling for at least 10 Its really hard, both of my sisters are retired...and they do a lot of traveling....while I am here at work.... I am so ready to be retired....
Any how did you see our countdown!!!!! We are officially under 300 days...
Oh well , gotta run

The weather in St. Maarten was picture perfect. We were on a 50-some foot catamaran with 6 other guests and 3 crew members (one was a trainee). We would sail for an hour or 2 after breakfast, then have time to swim/snorkel, and sail again for a while after lunch. Each night we'd moor in a protected cove. We basically circumnavigated St. Maarten but also sailed to St. Barts one day. We had dinner off the boat 2 nights--one in Maragot, the other in Simpson's Bay. John and I stayed at Mary's Boon (right by the runway) our first and last nights. We spent one afternoon at Maho Beach watching the planes land and take-off. Amazing! It was a wonderful vacation--once I get home and reorganized I'll try putting some pics in photo bucket and share a few. I want to go again

We sailed with Tradewinds. We traded our Anaheim property for the sailing catamaran thru RCI. You still pay a mandatory all-inclusive fee. I also saw another company on RCI called Festiva--AngieSounds like a great trip and a wonderful way to see the island other than land based. Who did you book the trip with? this type of vacation is on our bucket list.
Disneyland has changed a lot since the 1970's
