Braised Pork (Coq Au Vin style) - eight-hour slow-cooked pork with mushrooms, onions, carrots and bacon served with mashed potatoes and green beens jardiniere

Tuna Nicoise Salad - warm seared tuna steak with chilled green beans, potatoes, olives, roasted bell peppers, tomatoes, and hard boiled eggs

Lemon Raspberry Cream Puff



Candice said, "We got into Be our Guest yesterday for our last meal of the trip. DH got the braised pork and I got the tuna Niçoise salad and we shared a lemon raspberry cream puff. DH thought the pork tastes good but a little salty. He couldn't finish it because the portion was quite large. I liked the salad, it was fresh but I think the tuna wasn't as fresh as it can be? It wasn't bad though. I did clean my plate. I loved the dessert. It was tart but not too much and the flavours came out nicely in my opinion. My only complaint is that they do not sell tea as a drink.

Sorry the pictures came out dark because of the lighting in the restaurant. On another note, I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. (More than the food itself) It was really nice and so detailed. I would probably go back just because of that."

Roma said, "This is the best potato salad I have ever had. For people who prefer mayonnaise based potato salad over the traditional mustard, this is for you. Excellent!" ​

Roma said, "Our dessert was this little beauty. We bought it prior to going to 50's so it would warm up a bit. Mr. Roma did not like the cake part (I thought it was fine) but loved the frosting and ended up eating his entire portion anyway."​

She said, "Totally forgot to take any pics of lunch. We were at DHS and went to different carts. I did want to mention that DH and DS14 had a sausage, pepper, and onion sandwich at the Dockside Diner that my DH said was the best thing he's eaten so far!"

Cyndi said, "Three of us had this and it was pretty good."

Caprese Flatbread with Olive Oil, Roasted Garlic, Plum Tomatoes, Buffalo Mozzarella, and Fresh Basil, drizzled in Reduced Balsamic Vinegar



Cyndi said, "My DH had the flatbread, which he said was very good."

Took me about 3 days off and on to get through all 64 pages.....All I can say is....... Amazing! Thanks, Barb! Makes me wish we were going sooner....we will have to wait until Christmas Eve next year. If this is still going on, count me in! We have a trip to Hilton Head for the first time in April to look forward to.

HoneyBeeM and family are holding their annual Disney family reunion from Nov. 16-21. They will be staying the first two nights at Yacht Club and the remaining nights at the Swan. They're especially excited this time around because they'll get to see her little sis for the first time in months! She is currently working in the DCP as a fairy godmother at BBB. There will be five of them, plus some aunts and uncles. So plenty of food to go around! AND, they have a ressie for Be Our Guest on Nov. 20!

HoneyBeeM has offered to do live updates during their trip!

Roma said, "We split the Bacon Angus Burger. As is the course for me, it seems I got a little too excited and ate half before taking the picture..."

"For our grand Disney finale, we split a small No Way Jose. We could never dream of finishing the big one! This was so gooey and delicious. Even Mr. Roma, who doesn't really like ice cream, loved this."

We received an update today from Nanabug02. She and her DH arrived at Disney World and had their first meal at Magic Kingdom's...



Columbia Harbour House


Nanabug02 said, "Here is our first meal at WDW! We had a lobster roll, bowl of clam chowder, chips, and apple crisps. Lobster roll was good, but too many onions (but I don't like onions). DH loved the chowder and we both really enjoyed the apples crisps. Great counter service meal."

Oh my goodness, I'm having a hard time keeping up with this threat - 6 pages read and by the time I post I'll probably be behind 2! There's so many wonderful live updates. That caprese flatbread at Artist's Palette looks wonderful. Glad to see that the red velvet cupcake lovers are sending photos. Yum!

I'm looking forward to more BOG reviews as that place fascinates me. I want to eat in that dining room so bad.

Love the photos of the Turf Club. That is one of our favorite restaurants to eat at. Wish I could be eating there tonight! It is like one of those little hidden gem restaurants. It is nice and quiet with really good food.

Love, love, love that grilled salad. I couldn't believe how good that thing is. Also, I think the prime rib is the best.

Nanabug02 said, "When I ordered the Dirty Shirley, the waiter laughed and said we shouldn't say that too loud."





Then for their appetizers, they chose...

NB02 said, "This was my appetizer. They were yummy, as always! The sweet potato salad on the side had a weird consistency, but was tasty."

NB02 said, "This was hubby's app. He didn't love this. The oysters themselves were great, but he said the other flavors overpowered the dish. He ended up just eating the oysters and leaving the rest."

She said, "Good Morning from WDW! We decided on our drive down last night to truck through to Disney instead of stopping overnight. We got a room for the night at Port Orleans Riverside."

HBM said, "My dad had this and said it was great!"




"Mom and I split a parfait, oatmeal, and a cinnamon roll. The oatmeal was awesome...very creamy.
Cinnamon roll was hot and flaky. Yogurt was just okay."
