Is there anything we're allowed to bring in to sit on? I don't mean for in line but for watching/waiting for parades, etc. can you bring stadium cushions for example?

I am amazed at the things I see people dragging into WDW. They will be allowed. You could set them on the ground and they would work nice.
Hmmm ... I thought the cane seats could be used in the parks.I know folding chairs aren't allowed. I thought cane seats were allowed to be brought in, but not allowed to be used as a chair?
It's mostly for my mom. She has a hard time sitting in the ground, so I thought maybe it'd help, and I'd get a little less complaining about it this trip She isn't old enough to need/want a wheelchair but the sitting gets to her back
I saw someone using one of those cane chairs when we were in the MK in April, I also saw people using those walkers with the built in seats. As far as I know those are both permitted, but folding chairs are not. I would assume the ban on folding chairs has to do with them being a tripping hazard, much like rolling coolers and wagons.
For information (and FWIW, I work Parade Audience Control) , all seating devices on the parade routes and for fireworks, must have wheels. No stationary chairs (and this includes "cane seats") or devices are allowed. Do some still "sneak in", of course, but in every parade meeting ( at least it seems like - every day and every night) we are told to be watchful for stationary chairs.
Would the inflatable bath cushions or stadium cushions be allowed?
