Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

So I am just beyond frustrated at this point :headache:

I called IT and explained about my linking issue and the CM asks if I bought my tickets from UT then proceeds to tell me this is why I can not link them as UT tickets will not link and if I get an "invite" to participate in FP+ I will need to go to guest services in the park to have them set up FP + for me.

Bite me Disney! In other words buy your tickets from Disney or else. In all the years I have been visiting WDW and DL I have never felt like I was being pushed aside before or treated like a second class guest but that is how I feel at this moment.

I am ready to cancel my entire trip! :furious:

I was able to link my UT tickets to MDE easily. It might seem silly but try using an "O" instead of zero (or vice versa), or scanning them with your phone. I bought my tickets back in the Spring was was able to link them then. I hope it works out for you. :)

Thank you for your words of encouragement BwoZoo22 and mikeeymike, I appreciate it.
I just want to clarify my issue in case anyone else had the same with their UT tickets and has some resolution.
As soon as I got my tickets I went to MDE to add them to our reservation. This is where I am hoping I didn't mess up. The area on MDE that I added the ticket numbers was the section "Manage Magic Bands". Then I noticed the other option which is "Link Existing Reservation and Tickets" so once in that area you have 3 options, link resort, dining, tickets.
When I go to tickets I add the numbers from the ticket (the very same numbers that I added in Manage Magic Bands and are in the system on that page) and the reply I get is that the tickets are already linked to another account. Yes, they are linked to my account under Manage Magic Bands!!!! To make things even more complicated when I add our reservation number in the "Link Existing Reservation" section it gives me this message, This reservation is already linked to.... and it's me? So on the main MDE page I have all my confirmation numbers, the resort, ADRs but when I try to link them it is like the link page is for a different account.
When I spoke to the CM (the number I called was 407/939-4357) she thought she had fixed my linking resort problem but the ticket problem would need to be passed on to the ticket problem team. However, my resort problem has not been resolved and I will need to call back about that :(
Is this scenario similar to anyone else's? Did you have your situation resolved?

When you log on to My Disney Expeirience and click on the section called My Reservations, does your resort show up under the section called Disney Resort Hotel Reservations? If so then your resort is already linked. Everything that shows up on the My Reservations page should be the things that are already successfully linked to your account.

The ticket thing sounds like something they'd have to fix to me.

I had a similar problem and discovered, after three phone conversations with IT that there were multiple accounts linked to my email address. When I first started using Disney websites an email was not required, so I had just a member name. Then, a few years later when an email address was required, I added that thus creating account No. 2. How the third account was created I don't know, but they were all mine and two of them had a different password. It took IT and me three phone calls and almost two weeks to sort it all out, but we did! Keep calling; and be patient, it will be fixed.

And, by the way... UT tickets are not a problem. The CM was wrong. They are a "recognized Disney seller." At least for now, anyway!

Yes, our resort reservation does show up in the My Reservations section, so that is good :)
When I spoke to the CM she did mention the email/accounts problem. She said between me and the kids we had about 12 accounts. I guess Disney merged all the businesses into 1 for account purposes (not sure why they did that it doesn't sound like a good idea to me). That is Disney, ESPN accounts, all the kids play sites etc.... my kids had accounts at the pirates site, the princess site it goes on and on... so she needed to get me down to 1 which we did ( I think )

So you don't feel that the UT tickets should be a problem? The CM did say that they are an official ticket seller so they really do recognize them so the problem should be resolved right? I am confident my tickets will be valid (we have been buying from UT for our last 4 trips ) what I am worried about is not being able to make any FP+ choices before we get there. I would be so sad  I know there are much bigger problems in the world so maybe I need to put this in perspective.

Your description is what I am currently experiencing. However, I think you linked it the way it was supposed to link as there's only one way to link tickets on MDE and that is to manually input (or scan the ticket using your smartphone) them to MDE. What happened after is not something that you or I did or didn't do. One CM described it as a system glitch that eventhough the tickets were linked to MDE (under MagicBands and Cards) and then assigned to a user successfully, they somehow are not getting linked to your existing resort hotel reservations on MDE.

So we physically are able to late these tickets under "Manage MagicBands and Cards" but they don't appear under "My Reservations" and its subsequent heading "Tickets and Passes".

As of right now, because of my Nov 4th arrival date, it is not creating any issues. But if and when MyMagic+ is extended to me, from what I understand to be correct, I won't be able to pick my FP+'s.

I called IT. The first agent said, it will get fixed within the hour. No fix, so I called back and the other agent said within 48 hours. No fix, so I called back again, and third agent said within a week. I followed up the issue with a written request by email for an update on my fix.

None of the three CM's I spoke to blamed UT as the problem so I don't think the issue revolves strictly around UT tickets. I have read similar issues with people that have purchased their tickets directly from Disney.

Have been trying to access FP+ screen sporadically throughout the day, no luck yet. I'm thinking that we'll get some FP+ love here at some point.

On the October thread there are reports of people being able to link their tickets when they scan them using their smart phone and mobile ap.

Hope that helps.

Yep, I wasn't able to link tickets until I used the bar code reader on the mobile app. Worked like a champ!

Thanks for the suggestion but I get the same answer on my phone, that the tickets are linked to another account. Oh well, here's hoping the ticket specialists can/will figure all this out. Looking for some Disney magic pixiedust:

Is anyone having trouble with online check-in today?

I went in this morning to modify my check-in with hopes that MB customization would suddenly appear.:rotfl2:
It let me get so far and then I got an error screen telling me my request cannot be completed right now-please try again later.

I tried again just now and saw the same error.

Agh! I broke it!

I messaged Disney several days ago because there is no ticket showing up (purchased as part of our package) for one of my daughters on MDE. The other 3 tickets are there and my reservation looks accurate (has all 4 of us). I have gotten no reply.

1) Anyone else with this type of ticket problem?

2) Should I call or wait?

I am concerned that the FP+ thing will become available and I won't be able to get any passes for DD.....

4luv2cdisney - I've been kind of concerned about that myself. I have 4 adult multi day tickets as a part of my package but the main Reservations screen only shows my ticket. I'm not sure whether or not to be concerned or to call and have them fix it so that all 4 of our tickets will show up or if that is how it is supposed to be?

When I go into my reservations, on the right hand side even when it is on the tab "My Family" - it only shows my tickets. When I drop down on the menu to select one of the other 3 members of my parties names, it does show their ticket with their name on their page.... but only shows my personal ticket when I'm on "My Family"

It's a surprise trip so they have no idea we are going and I manage/control all 3 of their accounts - - but I just want to make sure that if FP+ pops open here soon (fingers crossed) that I will be able to make FP+ ressies for everyone.

Finally popping in on this massive thread now that so many resorts, including ASMu, where we will be, have been added. We check in on November 1, so I'm guessing we should be among the first to know if November is going to be getting MBs. 48 days out for us and nothing so far...

I skimmed through but didn't read every single post here. Has anyone checking in in November received MBs yet?

I'm having the same problem too. Don't worry, you didn't break it. It's disneys top notch technical staff:lmao:

hmmm, so when you click a family members name, and then you look down where it says ticket it doesn't show the ticket on the left and their name on the right? What does it show? Nothing?

For me, from the main "My Reservations" page it shows under "Tickets and Passes" 3 multiday base tickets and off to the right of the page it says "assigned to (DH)" next to one ticket, "assigned to (me)" next to one ticket, "assigned to (DD15)" next to the 3rd ticket. There is no 4th ticket. When I use the drop down menu on the side (showing "My Family" initially) and then family members names pop up, if I select DD11, there is no ticket assigned. If I select any of the rest of us, it shows our ticket. Ugh.

That stinks. Our aunt couldn't even create an MDE account at all without contacting IT due to her e-mail address. Apparently there was an issue with some AOL accounts. IT was responsive and contacted her when they said they would and got the issue resolved.

I know it's frustrating when things don't work the right way but I think they'll get your situation sorted out. I'll shoot some magic your way pixiedust:

Nope, not yet. We're all watching and waiting.:surfweb:
