Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

    You can go ahead and do on line check in if you want to. The issue is that some people were unable to see the link to customize bands because they had already done on line check in. They had to go back in and re-submit it before the link for customization went live for them.

    If you frequent these boards there will be lots of people posting when November check-ins go live. It's up to you which way you want to go with on line check in.

    That's what we are doing for our nov 8-18 trip. I'm not doing online checking until the day we get the FP . The cm today Said watch over the next 3 weeks so I'm just going to check every few hours like I have been lol

    I'm waiting to do online check in because of this.
    I don't doubt fast pass- will still be available. But technically, couldn't they turn back on the part that required your KTTW to be used that day to be able to pull a FP? Or somehow not put tickets on the KTTW card? I really hope they don't, but if all Disney resort guests can get both, I would think FP would be gone even faster during the day or FP lines might not be as fast.

    That's great! Congratulations. I will be so glad when the daily waiting/chicking is over (well, maybe not ;) )
    Only November 12th opened up for me tonight. 70 days out.

    Where are you staying? Have you had FP+ before? I haven't seen any other reports of people with stays starting November who have been able to activate it.:confused3

    I have only seen people who already have MagicBands from an earlier stay at a testing resort in August/September/October who can book FP+ already. I am sure they will continue into November, with maybe testing for AP and offsite guests in November. Or they might go full live Nov.1

    Ok now I am worried we won't be able to link our UT tickets to our account. I have been reading posts that tickets purchased through UT are not linking on to MDE and if you can't get them linked then you can't make FP+ choices. I called earlier today and spoke to a wonderful CM, she was helpful with some other MDE issues I was having but had to take our ticket numbers to pass along to the ticket specialist people to resolve our problem. I might have to wait up to a week to hear back. I have read other posters saying they were told this issue won't be resolved until they are on property so they can't make FP+ selections until then! I want to cry :worried:

    My gut was telling me to forget about saving the money from UT and just buy them from Disney with the possibility of FP+ but I didn't listen. When will I learn to trust my instincts? :( :confused:

    We just received our tickets from UT today and I was able to link them with no problem.

    Many others had no problems linking their UT tickets. Don't despair!:thumbsup2

    Some people that bought tickets directly from Disney are seeing the same glitch so don't bee too hard on yourself. Things will work out.

    I'm in the same boat and still waiting for the fix. I will call back after a week and I suggest you do the same. ;)

    Linking our UT tickets wasn't the problem. MDE not linking it to our resort reservations because of a system glitch is our problem.

    Just linked my older paper UT tickets without a problem.

    I purchased my tickets from expedia and have a voucher has anyone had any luck linking vouchers. Is it worth a try to call Disney and ask if they can

    I am having the same problem with my tickets that are on KTTW cards from our February trip. I too was passed on to the specialist team and told it would be about a week but she assured me it could be fixed manually by them. They are going by check in date for priority apparently.
    I am not too worried yet.

    Yes - mine was escalated to the system dept or something like that. I'm hopeful that they will fix in a week and if not, I will call back :).

    Just wondering what # you all are calling to reach IT since the CM yesterday was of no help and today the lines were busy when I tried so will call again tomorrow.

    BTW , some aspects of the Magic Bands creep me out at bit....

    Anyone else???? I sorta feel like those contestants in "The Running Man" or "The Hunger Games" . Disney might electrocute me or blow off my hand !!!!

    LOL!

    Seriously though, anyone wonder what the trade off is? What info might be collected from the bands?
