How was the cruise?!?
How was the cruise?!?
Hello there!
Yes, we went to on the cruise and overall it was....just...okay . Unfortunately, my mother did what I thought she would do . It was a very long week.
If ya'll want details, I have no idea where I'd begin.
The good points, I WILL highlight: Swimming with stingrays , the food, our waiters and our room attendant (not sure what to call them, since they became more like friends), the shops , the fact that I won a raffle and some OBC , my daughter winning at Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer , the pin trading, the perfect view from the verandah , the room service, the horn, the late night pizza and movie on the funnel vision, and the Starbucks in Cozumel.
How surprised I was that there were so many that remembered this thread and my little rant. Thanks for the advice and for "listening". Disers rock!
Did you rebook while onboard? I hope so. It's no fun cruising with people you don't want to cruise with, even family. I have learned that from experience.
Focus on the positives. That is what your DD will remember.

I SURE DID!! Won the early booking raffle, too!!! Woop, woop! I wish I could have afforded to book a better cruise than a three nighter, tho.
Indeed! I have pictures posted on my FB, and I keep looking at them to keep the good times fresh in our minds. Got DD a key chain digital photo album so she can show teachers and schoolmates about the trip.
A 3 nighter is better than 0 nights! I have even done a 2nt cruise to no where. Sometimes I just need a fix and that's all we can financially or time-wise. I'd keep that baby a secret!
I'm glad to hear you still managed to make some happy memories. Did you mother say she had a good time?
