3 weeks out and I don't want to go now.

Just stumbled onto this thread today. Not knowing how it all turned out... It's definitely a cliff-hanger! Hope Disney worked some magic for her...pixiedust:

Hello there!
Yes, we went to on the cruise and overall it was....just...okay :worried:. Unfortunately, my mother did what I thought she would do :crutches:. It was a very long week.

If ya'll want details, I have no idea where I'd begin.

The good points, I WILL highlight: Swimming with stingrays :beach:, the food, our waiters and our room attendant (not sure what to call them, since they became more like friends):grouphug:, the shops ::yes::, the fact that I won a raffle and some OBC :cool1:, my daughter winning at Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer :cheer2:, the pin trading, the perfect view from the verandah :boat:, the room service, the horn, the late night pizza and movie on the funnel vision, and the Starbucks in Cozumel.:drinking1

How surprised I was that there were so many that remembered this thread and my little rant. Thanks for the advice and for "listening". Disers rock!

Did you rebook while onboard? I hope so. It's no fun cruising with people you don't want to cruise with, even family. I have learned that from experience.

I SURE DID!! Won the early booking raffle, too!!! Woop, woop! I wish I could have afforded to book a better cruise than a three nighter, tho.

Focus on the positives. That is what your DD will remember. :)

Indeed! I have pictures posted on my FB, and I keep looking at them to keep the good times fresh in our minds. Got DD a key chain digital photo album so she can show teachers and schoolmates about the trip.

We try to stick together

I contemplated doing a trip report....but I am not sure how great I would be at telling the story, lOl.;)

Here's my favorite picture:

A 3 nighter is better than 0 nights! I have even done a 2nt cruise to no where. Sometimes I just need a fix and that's all we can financially or time-wise. I'd keep that baby a secret! :ssst:

I'm glad to hear you still managed to make some happy memories. Did your mother say she had a good time?

Agree with you there! I am gonna see what I can do to change the date to a 4 nighter if possible. If we are really blessed, maybe add a couple days at WDW? Who knows :scratchin

Violetmanarch, so happy you got a little pixiedust: with the OBC!:yay: Just focus..the good memories will stick! :goodvibes
