As of June they were still stocked...and I noticed extra waters were generally stocked in the late evening. ..Another change ..I understand that the carving station is no longer being offered...wonder if there will be additional hot appetizers?? Always about the food...lol..

Good news! I'm glad something is still the same! And I'm still thinking about that potato soup someone posted...was it you or Baler?? A local restaurant here has smoked Gouda potato soup sometimes, and it's incredible!

We saw an alligator near Tom Sawyer's island a few years back. Also saw one while we were on the bus to DTD. It was on the golf course!

What!!! No more carving station in RPC? I was keeping my fingers crossed that if we ever get back there that it would be one of the perks of staying in RPC. All good things must come to an end, as the saying goes.

It's the Itinerary Planning Office (IPO)...if you stay club level you can work with IPO to help with ADRs and text for things like 4th FP during your day at the park or to change reservations.

LOL I know what you mean, that was my first thought when I saw it. It stands for Itinerary Planning Office. When you are staying at Club Level they assist you in dining requests, room requests, etc.

I agree with MickeyNut about the rooms accommodating the scooter..although the rooms across the atrium have a bit of a different configuration and might be a little larger...We do always see them parked out in the hallways charging...so I do think many folks don't even bring them into the rooms...

I agree! Too many changes taking place lately (and some of them not for the better) .

I feel the same way. I'm sad it's gone already as I was also hoping to get back to RPC with the carving station .

Before the move, there was a thread that stated since the resort FAQs were part informational, part social, and part pics that they were being moved to the Resort Community sub-forum.

I think Trish should be there now. She was flying out same day as us, today. But we're in Ft Lauderdale untill 22nd, so will miss her in wdw. Got to airport car rental place today, and promptly slammed stupid car door on my thumb, ugh. Not a good way to start the vacay

Only 3 weeks left until our first GF stay.

So, any special places in the resort that I should get pictures of? Any special little things we should look for? I love all of the little details at WDW and I'm always looking for fun photos to add to our albums.

Ismo, the GF is a constant delight for photographers. The gardens are lovely, the buildings have many architectural details both inside and out and the goings-on lend themselves to unique, quirky and just lovely pics.

There are pool shots, food shots, monorail shots and shots of the floor ( yes, really). It really is a great resort for photography and limited only by your imagination ... mine is not great.
