Can anyone who clicks on the link see it or just those who have been invited to it? There is a lot of personal information there, that's my only concern. I'm not sure I want just anyone to be able to see my kids' names and our cabin number.

Is it possible to close our FB group too? I have the same concern with that link too. If you don't know how to do a closed group Julie, I am an admin of a closed group so I can help you if you need help.

Yep, anyone could see it. I went ahead and took it down. I'm a little more open with my info online just because I work online all day so it's just an accepted part of life.

As for the FB group, you're right. I signed in as my mom and I could see everything, I just couldn't post/like anything. I'm not the admin of that, though and the link is already all over the board so I can't remove it from everywhere. Sounds like having Julie make it a closed group is the best way to go. Not that I'm trying to shirk responsibility here!

Let me know if that works!! In the meantime, I'll take the link down from page 1 until it's all privatized. Now that I know how to edit it, I can add the link back in a jiffy when everyone is comfortable with it!

I wish I could help you with it!! I'm so bored here at work right now, I'd love something cruise-related to do, lol. I would try and think about my FEE stuff, but since pictures in threads are blocked here, I can't do much there. Think I'll just daydream for a while.

Ha! Too funny. Since I started it almost a year out, it was just me by myself for a lot longer. It's a wonder I didn't crack up!!

Ok, weirdest thing ever. A notification popped up in my email that had your post SnipsNSnails, but it had a link to the menus too. The link in my email didn't work so I signed in here to get it and post it and it's not in your post. Am I crazy?? Maybe disboards was just tricking me to get me to sign back in today!

I'm reading that both splash mountain and big thunder mountain railway will be closed while we are there. Please tell me its not true.

Splash will definitely be closed until well after our one day there, unless Disney changes the rehab schedule -- which they do all the time! But Splash is almost always closed for most of January... it's just slated to be closed a bit longer this time, until near the end of March.

BTMRR just finished its big long rehab and reopened in May or June of this year. That one should be good to go.

The only other rehab I see on the schedule is for the teacups, and they're supposed to reopen the day before get there if all goes according to plan.

Anyway, watched the DCL special on Netflix yesterday and found out that the Magic's inaugural cruise (July 30, 1998) was on my birthday! I thought that was kinda cool - and fitting for my first Disney cruise!

Incredibly slow and boring here at work today, so I've been filling in cruise info in my Passporter and working on my packing list.

Wanted to see who might be interested in some specific activities in general, and then when 8-night Navigators come out we'll already have an interest list to go by. It's so much more fun to do activities together with other DIS'ers!

So here are some thoughts off the top of my head -- just let me know which ones sound like something you'd like to be a part of with your new friends here, and I'll get a list going. This doesn't commit you to anything -- just want to see who might be interested in what.

Magic Quest (Would be SO fun to have a team of only DIS'ers for this)

Oh, sorry to hear you are sick Lori. That is not fun at all… Especially this time of the year.

Gina – Count me in for Bingo, group trivia, and Magic Quest. We don’t drink, but are open to all the other activities. Thought it might be fun to play some ping-pong, mini golf, or shuffleboard (which I will let you know is not my strong suit) with people in the group.

Our internet has been down all afternoon, so am connecting through my phone which is really slow. Hope they get it fixed tonight and I wake up to fast internet in the morning.

Boo for being sick Lori! It's been going around my house and I think I'm going down. Worst part of winter.

As for refurbs, yes on Splash but I think Thunder will be open. I just read in my Disney Files magazine (dvc) that thunder at DL will be closed for a while, so maybe that's the one you heard about.

My first job at Disney was running BTMR so I'm super excited my oldest can ride it thus year!
