EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! that is one big, gross hairy bug!!! My 7 yr old DD would FREAK out! cool picture, though!:crazy2:

Back to nicer posts now

My passion flower was really hit hard this year by the frosts, had to cut about 6 foot off every stem as it had half died. Here's the first flower of the year:banana:...whats funny is that it looks like the goblin is wearing it in his hair:lmao:

And heres another macro, but a nicer subject than a big hairy bug:goodvibes

Karen, this one is GORGEOUS! Love the colors! What kind of flower is it?:hippie:

You dont need to beware of me at all.... I do usually ask before I snap a piccie:thumbsup2...unless you're wearing a bra on the dance floor and then you're just fair game and asking for it:lmao:

:rotfl2: - I agree - if you are on the dance floor with undergarments showing on the outside of your clothes, you are fair game!!

My DH just got a new camera for the cruise - nothing too fancy - it is an SLR type camera. He needs to learn to use it before we go, though. We took pictures at my girl scout troop's bridging ceremony last week and half of them were blurry (he doesn't read instructions and he is NO professional - or even amateur - photog).

He got me a new one for the cruise too - little - hope I don't lose it (Last time we were at WDW (Nov 2006) I lost our camera and never found it. Thank goodness I downloaded all the pics each night onto laptop. Still really bummed about it, though!

We have a few of us following WW Angie. Good luck with it. :flower3:

BTW....I sure wish my boss would leave...she's not so awesome.

I have only been at current job for 6 months and she has been AWESOME! I'm working on a major software conversion, but it hasn't started yet, so I have a lot of free time on my hands - and she's been very understanding about it all. I'm excited for her, though - she is moving to NYC and working for the NBA as a Senior Accounting Manager. She's really excited - but she will be missed!

Sorry about your crummy boss, though Nancy. Also thanks for the well wishes on WW - made it through lunch (one meal at a time!!)

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Newest member to the BOB is fitting in well here. She's got you tagged Dawg. :rotfl:

Thanks! I'm supposed to be working, but I can't seem to focus (need some ADD medicine!) I'm surfing the net :surfweb: and searching for ideas for my Fish Extender (DH - who wasn't excited at first) actually sent me a drawing of his idea. Gonna try to post it here - CRAZY man! :-)

(I think I could probably BUY one for cheaper than I could to make it.....but it will be more special to make it). Also trying to get ideas for decorating the door....

Heres my night time sky shot for college on Thursday - its not very good but I couldnt use my tripod so its a bit blurry

How many of us get a new camera and then don't learn how to use it before we use it properly.

This is so weird...I've just noticed your family name. That was mine before Rick and I married.! Spooky!!

Small world!! There are a lot of Manns around - especially around Central Virginia. My name before getting hitched was Hedrick - quite less common. What's really funny is that my wonderful in-laws do a lot of cruising (Australia, Europe, Caribbean) and my father-in-law ALWAYS meets someone on the cruise he knows... it's truly bizarre!!!:confused3

I wanted to post a picture of my wonderful girl scout troop. We had 7 girls "bridge" from Juniors up to Cadettes and 5 bridge from Brownies to Juniors (We still have some little ones left in Brownies)

Here is a picture of my troop (and me as one of the leaders: the "before" pic)

Here is a picture of my Becca - she's so goofy and she's so excited about the cruise (it's on her birthday - as she CONSTANTLY reminds me....)

Congrats on passing the exam!! I keep wanting to take the CPA exam :teacher:(for accountants) and I STINK at test taking. Don't need it for my career, but would be nice to have those 3 letters after my name!

There are several accoutants on this board. :thumbsup2 I have my CPA but am not doing public accounting so have to get the certification in HR and benefits to match what I am doing now. Trying to make myself more marketable.
