    No Sugar Added Desserts

Is he Type 1 or Type 2? If Type 1 and going to be covered with insulin it's probably better to go with a regular dessert since sugar-free typically has more carbohydrates or is hard on the stomach. Plus, with all that walking he might need a few extra carbs anyway - Type 1 or Type 2.

Suggestions for 2 or 3 bedroom with great pools?

We had a 3-bedroom condo at Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa that was immaculate for $159/night. It had a pirate ship pool with water slide (for older kids/adults) and a "quiet pool". The condo had a full kitchen, huge rooms, incredible master bath...nicer than my own home!!! My DH and I always...

McQueen and Mater at Hollywood Studios

If we don't make it to the Block Party Bash Parade at 3 pm, is there anywhere else in the studios that we can see Lightning McQueen and Mater (the "actual" characters)? TIA!

I'm having Panic Attacks about losing DS(5) at Magic Kingdom

I just got back from the most terrifying experience at McDonalds. I went to get DS's and my food while my friends supposedly were watching my child (I watched their kiddos while they got their food) and returned to the table to see my child NOWHERE in sight. I flippin' panicked. Luckily, he...

Car activities for a 2 year old?

I got him a MagnaDoodle and a "Cars" Color Wonder packet, along with a new DVD. I love the idea of wrapping the toys because he has been asking for presents almost every day since Christmas. ;) I will also be taking a stash of Matchbox cars and books. Luckily, my girl friend had an extra...

We are driving to WDW from Atlanta (approx 7 -8 hours) We are leaving at nap time and taking a DVD player with movies. I don't think that's near enough to keep my 2 year old DS happy. Please give me your ideas! Thanks!!! :flower3:

    Christians- Rides/ Attractions to avoid

ITA, though I probably would've opened the post anyway. With that said, I know the rides/attractions pretty well and felt that once I understood what she was asking that I could give an educated answer.

I'm having Panic Attacks about losing DS(5) at Magic Kingdom

LOL! I invested in a harness just for that reason! He is 2 (but about the size if a 4yo) and WILL NOT hold our hands. I figure with a harness, he can run and we still have a hold on him.

    Christians- Rides/ Attractions to avoid

Okay, maybe I posted too soon. I think I get it now, though we will have to agree to disagree on Sorcerer Mickey....that's still just fiction to me. Let me consult my handy-dandy guide book... Besides the ones you've mentioned: Tower of Terror (too scary and suggests an alternate...

    Christians- Rides/ Attractions to avoid

I think we were posting at the same time...ignore my post. I just feel you can honor Him in all things and still ride FICTIONAL rides. I was taught that God has a sense of humor...

    Christians- Rides/ Attractions to avoid

I think as a Christian, my only problem would be "pretending" to worship an Idol/totem. Rides are rides...mere fiction. If my child was old enough, there is not a ride I would not let him experience (barring this Brother Bear thing ya'll have mentioned...I have not seen it). There are...

Spin off: My 2 y.o. LOOKS 3.5 - will we have a problem?

OK - I just called them - they will take your word for it. Mine just turned 2 in December so he is a pretty "new 2", but he also has an extensive vocabulary and speaks very clearly...on top of the fact that he is soooooo tall!

Spin off: My 2 y.o. LOOKS 3.5 - will we have a problem?

My just-turned 2 year old looks every bit 3.5 (off the height charts since he was a year old) Will they question us? Should I take his birth certificate? It's posts like the one below that make me nervous. We are NOT trying to abuse the system, but I am afraid we will be questioned because...

    Grand Floridian Questions

I love, love, love the GF! It is one stop away from the Magic Kingdom by Monorail - maybe 5 minutes! Ticket prices are not included in the room rates, If you are looking at pricing by internet, you can put in that you want the package and it will give you the total price including tickets...
