Can you reserve/prepay preferred parking at Port Canaveral?

We just pay when we get there and always park on the 3rd floor of the walk deck then just walk over to the terminal. Oh we do drive by the porters and drop all checked luggage off before going to the parking deck

Tipping for Cabana Host on Castaway Cay?

We have always had a great experience on the family beach cabanas and the concierge team was the hosts. We were staying concierge so we tipped at the end. The one cruise that was just my husband and I back last summer, we did the adult beach cabana and never hardly saw anyone. The man that...

We are concierge....my other family is not...

The main restaurants and Palo are ordered through the concierge team not through room service. I would talk to the onboard team once you get to the reception. We were in the family suite connected to my parents 1 bedroom suite and were told last April that are only suppose to order from the...

    Q about 'It's a Small World Nursery'

We've used the nursery quite a bit on the Dream when my youngest has been with us on 3 cruises. He wore his captain mickey magic band while in the nursery. They scanned it when coming in and verified all the information. When they scan the band, everyone that has been registered to check-in or...

2.75 year old in small world nursery

My youngest turned 3 in June and our last cruise was end of April so he was 2.75 :) He still loved the small world nursery and had a blast. Several characters came by and the staff was great about doing age appropriate staff for each group. Here's a few pictures and his favorite castmember.

Castaway Cay Cabana - a few questions

I highly doubt you will have an issue getting a cabana since you are concierge. We have always gotten one as a concierge guest. Shoreside concierge should call you about 4-5 days before hand to see if they can schedule anything for you. But you can always call them first if you'd like too. Just...

Castaway Cay Cabana - a few questions

Yes everyone will have a wristband that is a paying cabana guests. The concierge team goes around the whole time to check in on the cabanas and they do have a list of how many people should be in each cabana. The wristband must be worn at all times. I have seen people be asked to leave that were...

Princess meals good for little boys?

We took our boys last year to CRT and they loved it. They were 18 mths, 3 and 4 1/2. It was so cute. They were in love with the princesses especially my older two. They were in awe of Cinderella and they are not that into princesses. I say its a one time thing. I probably won't do it again but...

2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival 9/19-11/10

I'm sorry if this has been asked. I've tried to scan through the thread. I really want to surprise my husband with tickets to the Party of the Senses on October 11th. His birthday is the 10th and we leave for our Disney Dream cruise on the 12th so it's perfect timing. Is the party really...

CC cabanas: I don't get it?

Last cruise was our 7th DCL cruise and our first to get a cabana. They are really nice when you have young children like us. They had a pack-n-play in the cabana for our then 15 month old to nap. We actually stayed on CC longer then we ever had before since we had a cool place to sit inside the...

    Strollers

We have several times when the boys were younger. My oldest went on the Magic at 15 weeks old and he slept through every dinner in his bassinet attachment to the stroller. On the morning we got off the boat we went to breakfast and the servers were like "oh now we get to see the baby". Each time...

Your kid's first reaction to nursery?

We were on the Dream in late september and the staff was awesome. Our 15 month old went every night for dinner b/c anything over 20 minutes for dinner is too much for him right now. He cried at drop off every time but was fine within a few minutes. I tried hard to get there when the line wasn't...

    Castaway Cay Private Cabanas

We were in #5 and it was like 10 yards to the bathrooms and the food was across from the bathrooms. They also had golf carts that can take you around. We loved having a cabana and will probably always try to get one from now on.

    Dinner question for 3 y/o

Try it but just prepare that one of you might have to leave. Our cruise was with a 2yo and 9 month old. I don't think my dh and I ever ate a whole meal in the MDR. We leave on the 22nd for a four night on the dream with a 4yo, almost 3yo and 1 yo. We are hoping the best but are prepared for not...
