    TV Channels

I'm moving to Winter Garden, FL and will have a Fireworks view. Do any TV providers broadcast the special "Disney Resort TV" channels off-site? Is there a website that I can access to watch the channels. Mostly looking for the Wishes Channel. TIA

Anyone care to critique my itinerary for Hawaii?

We were there over Christmas and I can confirm they held our things in cold storage. I agree with changing your north shore day to a weekday. Also hanauma bay has a very small parking lot and fills very quickly, once full they will not allow any more people in, so pack up and head there very...

    Your "Oh, I wish I would've brought..."

Just FYI, you can get band aids, Tylenol and Motrin at the first aid stations in the parks for free. Also we use one of our empty suitcases for dirty laundry. We used to bring the pop up hamper but this works just as well. Power strip, zip lock bags, sharpie, and scissors are must haves for us.

Ideas on how to bring back the magic

If she still believes is Santa and the tooth fairy and such then may I suggest doing tinkerbell gifts. I started this when my daughter was little, I also have done it with my nieces. My son is only 3, so maybe on the next trip. I would tell the girls if they were really good all day then...

    I'm starting to freak out!

Ok, breath! We have been to Disney over 20 times and I have never had the "perfect" trip you are dreaming of. Something always goes wrong. Here is a little list of some of the things that have happened. Kids throwing up in the middle of the night, luggage doesn't make the flight and arrives 5...

    Seattle trip suggestions

Beachers cheese right across the street from pikes place market has amazing Mac n cheese, along with lots of other great things. The "first" Starbucks is right there also, it's nothing special but it's the only place to get first Starbucks mugs and cups, so if you are a Starbucks kinda person...

    Monorail from DLH?

The monorail at DL is not like WDW. It doesn't run as often and it is more of a "ride" than a mode of transit. It will bring you into tomorrow land so you will already be well into the park, but in my experience it doesn't save you any time, just walking.

Disney Dining Plan Going Downhill? Your Thoughts???

I know exactly how you feel. We have never done the dining plan because we love the flexibility of dining where ever we want to, including off-site. I read another post that explained the dining plan to somewhat of a food stamp plan. I am not sure of it since we never used it, but now that...

Disney Dining Plan Going Downhill? Your Thoughts???

We did this yesterday at Chilis. We ordered Chips/Salsa with DW all you can eat soup and salad and I ordered a half order of Texas cheese fries with my feature entree. We received the appetizers and then ordered our main entrees be delivered. We are not normal appetizer folks, but this worked...

    Ohana/Biergarten

We went to 'Ohana in March and it was well, well below par. $40 per person for substandard service, poor food and a guy walking with a guitar (entertainment). Bottom line is that we feel 'Ohana went downhill. I like your plan to eat in EPCOT and then go to MK.

    Going to Ohanas Without Reservations

We went to 'Ohana in March and it was well, well below par. $40 per person for substandard service, poor food and a guy walking with a guitar (entertainment). Bottom line is that we feel 'Ohana went downhill. On the ADR side of things, we tried to get some in China and were told no. We went...

Disney Dining Plan Going Downhill? Your Thoughts???

Listen....it was just an example. We on AVERAGE as a family spend about $40 when we go out to eat, we are light eaters, we don't order alcoholic drinks, sometimes we split entrees, sometimes we order appetizers as our meal. Our teenager is a girl, who eats like a bird, not a teenage boy with a...
