Just a followup, we ended up paying for parking (no shuttle). Got there early and used our AAA VIP pass for closer spots. Worked out great for us!

Southwest allows you to bring one car seat or stroller per child, in addition to the normal free baggage allowance.

We're bringing ours to save the $. Stinks to have to bring them, but certainly a lot better than lugging full car seats around!

Sounds good. Wish we could go on an off week, but don't like the kids missing school. We're compromising a bit to keep air fares, etc. reasonable - they'll miss 2.5 days with this mid-week to mid-week vacation.
