    Disneyland Senior portraits

I took my engagement photos at DCA and DL and it was easy. We hired and met our photographer at the parks...walked around and took our photos.

    Angelica & Nick's 2014 Disneyland Escape Wedding

Holy moly... long time, no post. I guess life (aka work) has just gotten in the way of thinking about the wedding. But, we are finally past the 365 day mark! Honestly, I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to be doing right now since I can't sign my contract until February! It feels so far...

    Honeymoon resort, need help deciding!!!

We are Disneymooning next year as well! I think a split stay is a great idea! That way you get to experience more than one resort and see which one you like best for future trips, etc.

    Back and forth

Some people might think it's crazy...but with a destination wedding (where this is a true concern) I think it is perfectly reasonable! Since you can't lock in the date yet, have your save the date just state month and year. You may need to send out a second round of save the dates once you sign...

    Possible Escape Wedding...Am I crazy?

I got engaged in September 2012 too! Congrats to the two of you!!! I actually went from thinking that we were going to have a "big" wedding with about 80 guests to opting for an escape at Disneyland, next year. I think it is more than possible to come in at your budget! The hard part about...

    Angelica & Nick's 2014 Disneyland Escape Wedding

Yikes! I feel so behind because the last two weeks were just crazy (our DL trip and work-blah). I wanted to do a proper trip report, but honestly I think I am just going to write some blog posts over on my blog about the trip highlights and then link them here. I am almost done with my review...

    Here Now (6/13)

Today I would say it varies by ride/park. 20 mins for haunted mansion...45 for Indiana. We haven't really checked on the DCA rides but did happen to see that Toy Story was 60 mins around 2pm (which is normal any of time the year).

    Here Now (6/13)

Normal summer crowds. Many rowdy teens for grad night...manageable lines and overall lots of fun! The Mickey's Magical Map show was pretty awesome!

Sick cats 2 days before vacation!

Thank you!!! I hope your cat feels better soon! I know breathing problems are the worst for kitties. We used to have a cat with sinus problems and I felt terrible for him. Safe travels. Aww! Thanks! I am really excited for our trip because we are going to look at the...

Sick cats 2 days before vacation!

Thanks for the happy thoughts! We got back from the vet a bit ago. Oliver (our kitten) is just fine...got his first set of shots and I was told that at 3.2 lbs he is overweight for a 12 week kitten. Oops! I'd better lay of the kitten chow with him. Nijel, our 8 year old w the third eye lids...

We leave for disneyland tomorrow night and have just noticed that our 3 month old kitten is sneezing (he had an upper respiratory infection a few weeks back but got better w meds) and our 8 year old cats third eyelids are showing. Luckily our 6 year old cat seems to be just fine. This means...

We got a Free Disney day for our bad experience

Oh no...after hearing all of the terrible things about grad nights I also checked our dates. There will be 2 grad nights while we are there (June 13 and 14). Just like PP asked, if anyone has additional information so we can be prepared please post! I know kids will be kids, but I want to enjoy...

    Help with Fireworks & Fantasmic

I agree 100% with PP. That will probably be the only way to see both...you will get to see the fireworks but not a shot of the castle.

    Angelica & Nick's 2014 Disneyland Escape Wedding

I called DFTW last week and they sent me a ton of information for the self guided tour. Since we are doing an Escape, there are no face to face meetings involved in the planning process. This frightens me a little, but as long as the communication is strong everything should be okay...

suggestions for comfortable disney shoes - broken pinky toe :(

Yikes! I've had a broken pinky toe before and it is NOT fun! :( Like you said- flip flops are definitely not your best bet because no matter how well they fit, you're still having to lift all of the bones in your toes and that can be tiring/painful. I would second the crocs idea. They have...
