Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Thanks everyone for the encouraging stories & pick-me-ups! I was reminded that some of our most memorable trips have been the not-so-perfect ones because the magic on those trips really stood out because we were looking for it. We were at WDW during Hurricane Matthew and it may be one of our...

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

We are headed to WDW for a stay at BC in less than 48 hours- YAY!! We have probably been almost 30 times in the last 10 years but have not been since right before the pandemic hit. We have had a rough last year as a family (like many others) and we desperately need a good experience at our...

    Bus or Car - AK

I have the exact same scenario/question. I was thinking bus but so much is different in COVID times so I’d love to see some current thoughts on this as well.

Thanks!! So you don't think driving to either resort will provide much of an advantage?

Walk-Up Experience at Topolino's for Breakfast

We are WDW regulars who haven't been since the pandemic. I have planned a last minute trip for my family of 6 Aug 3-9. The only ADR I really care if I get is Topolino's Breakfast but of course no luck (already using ADR finder services & checking frequently). Anyone attempt to do walk-up...

    Everything Rope Drop

My plans are to rope drop MK twice during our August 3-9 trip. We are staying at BC and will have a car. I also have an ADR at CR (11AM) one of those days and GF (1PM) on the other. Any thoughts on my most hassle free but still be as close to the front of the pack transportation option- bus...

READ POST 1 & 2 FIRST-Rise of the Resistance Boarding Group Planning and Information-*No Spoilers*

I may be the bad luck. The day we got 50 (Saturday) was the other day that they didn’t start calling BG until 2+ hours after park opening and ours wasn’t called until like 12:30ish.

We had a very similar result. 6:01- 47. For what it’s worth I was on WiFi and my “join boarding group” didn’t even turn red before my husband got our BG. We got 50 our first time earlier this week- we must not be very good at this. Just happy to have one. Now to get these cranky kids back to bed.

READ POST 1 & 2 FIRST-Rise of the Resistance Boarding Group Planning and Information-*No Spoilers*

None of my family was real pumped to get up. We rode it Saturday before my in-laws got here but I was going to try to do it with them. Everyone decided it would be too stressful to do it with them & their ECVs. Is it bad I’ll just wait and do it again when they leave tomorrow & assume they’ll...

READ POST 1 & 2 FIRST-Rise of the Resistance Boarding Group Planning and Information-*No Spoilers*

Can anyone report what (if any) BG they are issuing right now? We were going to sleep in after a late park night but I’m awake at the Dolphin & debating about walking over.

READ POST 1 & 2 FIRST-Rise of the Resistance Boarding Group Planning and Information-*No Spoilers*

Any reports yet of how they handle someone arriving late to their BG window? Tomorrow is our big day and we have both a lunch & dinner ADR (not in DHS 😬) so I’m worried if we don’t get a morning BG the 2 hour window might get us. I know it seems a bit greedy to do that all in one day but it’s my...

RotR Planning & Daily Boarding Group Discussion - *CLOSED*

I guess the “What if” that I’m really contemplating is if our BG gets called at say 10:30/11:00am. Not enough time to ride it and get to Epcot ADR by 11:30 but not enough time to eat at 11:30 and be back by 12:30 or 1:00. I think it’s reasonable to think that I can do both so I hate to cancel...

RotR Planning & Daily Boarding Group Discussion - *CLOSED*

Does anyone have any reports with their BG interfering with an ADR and how they and/or Disney handled it? We have an 11:30 lunch in Epcot this Saturday. We plan to leave the Dolphin at 4:30AM hoping to ride before heading to Epcot but I’m trying to think through the “What Ifs”.

RotR Planning & Daily Boarding Group Discussion - *CLOSED*

Planning on our first attempt to ride RotR next Saturday. I’ve been following along to this super helpful thread but am still unsure about one thing- does having a bag vs. not having a bag matter. I’ve read people being held at security until 5ish but wasn’t sure if non-bag people would be...

Extra Magic Hours @ DHS for Christmas Week

We are planning a trip 12/20-12/27 and chose to stay at the Dolphin (first stay there) for easy access and extra magic hours for DHS since GE will be our main focus. I know things change frequently but I am seeing no Extra Magic Hours for DHS at all that week. Anyone have a guess of why this is...

Moved from dxdp sharing thread- aging up at Disney

This thread has been so helpful in deciding whether or not to split our rooms up with DXDP in one and not the other. I have gotten the general feeling that sharing credits has been widely accepted but some places will not let kids order adult meals. We have a unique scenario and my rule...

    Be Our Guest PPO breakfast

Just snagged an 8:15AM BOG for this Thursday (9AM opening). Can anyone recommend when we should arrive at the park entrance and then when to head to the 7DMT entrance? I didn't know if they were still letting people into Main Street at 8AM and if that would affect our breakfast entrance and...
