Need quick help! Re: Comfort Suites

It sounds great, but I'm a bit worried about Majestic Tours passes not being guaranteed due to large crowds. Do you have any insight on this? It looks like they have a disclaimer on their website about Atlantis being able to deny admittance to certain attractions for any reason they see fit...

Need quick help! Re: Comfort Suites

There are finally openings in Aquaventure for our cruisethat leaves on 4/21, but not enough for our family of 5! :headache: There are a few rooms left at comfort suites - if I book one for 4 of us and then book one of 1 of us through DCL, do I have to ride the DCL shuttle to get my wristband...

    Aquaventure Sold Out!

The whole family had the flu last week, and when I finally thought to book our Atlantis excursion for our 4/21 cruise, Aquaventure was sold out. We have 5 people in our family, so it will actually come out cheaper to get 1 room at Atlantis vs. 2 rooms at the Comfort Suites. My question is...

    Closed: Points for Rent

Hi! I'm looking for a 2 bedroom at Boardwalk or Beach Club for January 16 - 21. I'd also be willing to stay at SSR or OKW. We have 3 adults and 2 children in our party. Thanks! Melissa

    Myrtle Beach, SC ???'s

As a SC native, I suggest looking at the Litchfield Beach/Pawley's Island area. It's about 20 - 25 minutes south of Myrtle, but it has very nice resorts and good restaurants. It's quieter, more family oriented (no teens cruising around or piling into one hotel room). I'm willing to make the...

Would you trade housecleaning for a trip to WDW?

I took a girls only trip with my DD for her 5th birthday. She turns eight Saturday, and I dearly treasure those magical memories.

Have you taken a trip renting DVC points?

We did this for our trip this past December (staying at SSR) and has a great time. We can't imagine doing it any other way. Our two young kids are very restless sleepers, and we can't stand sharing a room with them. Disney is a place where you definitely need a good night's rest in order to...

    Le Cellier or Concourse

We also ate at both in December and thought Le Cellier was much better. I thought the food at Concourse was only so-so, not bad, but I was much more impressed with Le Cellier.

How's the food at Concorse Steakhouse?

We ate there on Dec. 20 and thought it was just OK. Not bad, pleasant, but nothing to knock your socks off. We won't be going back - there are too many other places I want to try or already love!

    Is December already booked?

I was looking for a 2 bedroom (or perhaps 2 1 bedrooms) for December 18-22. Does anyone have any idea what availability is like during this time? Thanks! Melissa

Thinking of leaving one child behind....

I just got back from a mommy/daughter quick trip (left Friday, came back Sunday) where my 18 month old and my husband stayed behind. The baby has no idea what transpired, and is happy with the Mickey ball I brought back for him. We are taking a family trip in December (including grandparents)...

Quick Mommy/Daughter MK only trip (2/4-2/6)

Cast - me, almost 32, mom of 2. Only became Disney obsessed after having children DD - almost 5, loves all things Disney, usually kind of timid, but surprised the heck out of me wanting to ride 'big rides' this trip I planned this trip with 3 weeks notice. We are planning a big family trip...

    CROWDED Saturday!

It was crowded, but thankfully all we had left that we really wanted to do was Fantasyland. We got there at park opening and had done all of Fantasyland (except for Philharmagic, which was broken until 3 pm) by 9:35. We got FPs for Philharmagic and when it was fixed got right in. It was nice...

What's the shortest time you've ever flown to Disney for?

I'm getting ready to do just a 2 day trip. Since it's only me and DD (almost 5), we're sticking to MK. I think it will be fun to just concentrate on a few things and not feel like we *have* to be everywhere.
