    A Little Positivity, Please!

Thank you so much! And that's a good tip. Idk if we will travel with him when he's really little due to $$ and COVID, except for probably his grandparents' condo in Florida.

    A Little Positivity, Please!

Aw, I love this, OP! I'm due with our first baby on Saturday (!!), so while we don't have anything planned right now, we can't wait to take him on his first trip in a year or two!!

So what are you going to be for Halloween?

Our little one is due in about 2.5 weeks. As long as he comes on time (fingers crossed!), he will be a mini Stay-Puft Man from Ghostbusters. I will be lucky if I get a shower & a pair of Minnie ears on. :rotfl2:

    Check-In Magic Band Activated?

Go ahead and use online check-in in MDE the day before you leave. Then you're all checked in without going to the resort. If you are using Magical Express/new Mears service, you can leave your bags at bell services when you get to the resort if the room isn't ready or you don't want to head...

    Magicband+

I could swear that they were going to phase out MBs too and just make us use our phones for everything. (I am fine using my phone to check when my FP or ADR is, but I don't want to be using it constantly.) I am happy that they are keeping them going, but let's be honest - its mostly so I can add...

    Dinner recommendations

Note that booths are not out all year - only during Food and Wine Festival, Flower and Garden Festival, and Festival of the Arts. Now the festivals are longer and longer each year, but check your dates. That being said, Epcot has a ton of QS places that you can pick up snacks at too. Here are...

    Disney clothes for boys

Echoing that I've noticed Kohl's has great Disney kids clothes.

Has disney crossed the price threshold for most families?

Thank you so much! Speaking of value, we're hoping to do his first trip before he turns two, so we can take advantage of free tickets AND free flights for him. And its all about the choices you choose to make, right? We don't live large and instead focus on what it is we really want out of our...

Has disney crossed the price threshold for most families?

I think this hits the nail on the head. For the average American family, yeah, it is too expensive to go more than once. I would be interested to know what the average household income is on the Disboards, because I know from personal experience that Disney is expensive when you go every year...

    Tim Tracker-why exactly did...

I am subscribed to the Trackers YouTube channel. (I did not know that they had made homophobic statements though; I may unsubscribe now...) I don't want their content as much as I used to, because frankly, there are just better Disney YTs out there. I almost exclusively watch All Ears' channel...

    Restaurants that pleasantly surprised you

Honestly, T-Rex! It always gets terrible reviews, but I had an awesome steak and shrimp mac and cheese there!

    Restaurant regrets

That makes a lot of sense and makes me feel better. Maybe someday we'll try it again.

    Restaurant regrets

Our favorite TS in HS is Sci-Fi now. Its just such a chill, fun atmosphere. (Can you tell my vibe yet? ;)) And IMO they are not the typical Disney burgers. Those burgers are delicious, and I'm not going to say no to an alcoholic milkshake...

    Restaurant regrets

Hahaha! I would actually believe this one... And thank you. You know, it was 15 years ago now, but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth and was easily one of my worst experiences in Disney!

    Restaurant regrets

The only restaurant I remember really not liking and will never do again was 50s Prime Time Cafe. I recall the food being pretty good, and the 50s atmosphere was fun. It was the razzing of the wait staff that really got to me. My "cousin" was riding me pretty hard and quite frankly being...

Staying at Saratoga Springs DVC and wonder what restaurants to book in Jan.

Raglan Road is always a fave, but last time, we tried Jock Lindsay's, and it was so fun to look around at all the props and delicious food!

    Best non-character breakfast?

I would say Trail's End at FW. Delicious and its more affordable if you are looking for a cheaper option.

    Post Disney Depression Remedies

I am so lucky that ours hasn't closed. We live next to one of the biggest malls in the country (Mall of America in MN).

    Post Disney Depression Remedies

Ooh I did this too! I am one of those "weirdos" that like the wall dispensers, because I can use as much as I want. Life hack: just bring some empty bottles and fill them up before you leave to use at home. Then you can get the best of both worlds.

    Best Walking Shoes

As others have said, the most important point is to have shoes that are well-broken in! I like Nikes for rope-drop mornings. Out of all the brands out there, Nikes fit my feet best, and I can move fast to the next ride! For evening fireworks/dinner, I will bring a pair of Sanuk yoga sling...
