So what are you going to be for Halloween?

I'm not fun anymore (former sexy zebra here), so I'll be dressing up as a frumpy middle aged boss lady. Wait, that's every day....

Anyway, more fun than that, I'm dressing DS11 as Gru and DD9 as Bob. This mostly involves normal clothes. The only special things are the Gru scarf, bald cap and minion goggles. They are so excited.

What they don't realize (because I'm the best mom ever and they better miss me when I'm gone) is that we're going on our first trip to Universal about 2 weeks later.

DH and I are invited to a Halloween party (Sat 30) for the first time in years. He suggested a couples costume but I don’t like that idea.

I suppose I should start planning now. Go to Party City or the temporary Spirits shop to get some inspiration.

No, it WON’T be a slutty costume. But it has to be human, human-like, or an animal. No inanimate objects like a cheeseburger or a bottle of Sriracha.

And nothing where others have to guess or ask what you’re supposed to be.

My SIL had a really early Halloween party last month due to timing issues. My wife went as a witch, and I couldn't find a costume I was happy with, so she painted my nose black and added whiskers to my face, I wore all black, got ears and a tale, and went as a cat (her familiar).

On actual Halloween, I'll probably just wear a themed t-shirt.

We have 2 totally different events on Saturday the 30th. Trunk or Treat for a group I usually dress fun and for the weather since it's outside I've done a bed Bug, Queen Bee & DH was a worker Bee lol, A Bat witch. But then we have a fancy roaring Twenties casino nite also. So I have to figure it all out.

I'm going to be a lazy mom. I’ll be in my PJs watching Halloween movies.

Me & DH went as Lois & Clark Kent. I made Daily Planet Press Passes to clip onto our outfits. Bought Costume glasses. DH already had a Superman logo tee shirt so he wore dress pants with dress shirt unbuttoned to reveal the Superman logo tee underneath. I wore a nice dress, tights, & boots. Was our best, cheapest only spent $10, & by far the easliest costumes we've ever done. A bonus, we were comfortable all night.

I'm going to be .......me. We did buy candy but I don't expect many if any kids. I think we had 12 in 2019. None last year but trick or treating was banned. Not sure what will happen this year. Nobody I know is having a party.

We haven't done more than a Target Halloween T-shirt for many years. This year, though, we have two different parties and we made a project out of it. We will be four Ghost Busters with a marshmallow baby at one. For the other party, we are Sanderson Sisters. I'll be Mary Sanderson. We have all the wigs and accessories and all of it.

Hubby and I are going to a party on Saturday and we have Dios de los Muertos costumes and I got temporary tattoos for the face decorations 🤞 they look halfway decent as I can’t do face paint, I break out in a rash.

I'm going to be Winnie the Pooh - I'm 7 months pregnant, so it seemed fitting. I'm a teacher, so I get to dress up for work. The rest of my team will be various other Pooh characters. I think my kiddos are going to love it!
