    Character Handedness?

Does being left handed make you ineligible to be a fur/face character? I ask because I am left handed and can't write well at all with my right hand.

    Audio Engineering

I guess the big question is what sort of role would you like? There isn't a whole lot shared between audio engineering (which I assume is same as music) and electrical/mechanical. The audio engineering aspect would lend you towards providing sound for many of the shows or parades and even...

    Cp Fall 2013....

Oh I'm sorry I meant the deadline for final submitting of applications, not when they first become available. Applications are generally out by February and interviews finish by early/mid April. The regular fall program starts in mid to late August and ends in early January and the advantage...

Common for Specific Character to be Indentified?

Based on the experience of a few people I know that did entertainment in CP, you are a variety of characters within your height group. The one character that was named is probably representative of the height group she falls into. Which character was named?

    Quick question

Yeah I agree with people here - after talking about enrolling (and doing it) just to do the CP I heard tons of stories about people not being students during application or even within a year of their application. If you think about it, it makes sense. Disney doesn't care if you're willing to...

    Spring 2013 Professional Internships

Congrats on getting accepted! Had you done the CP before applying? I'm interested in this or similar PI's for next session and I'm interested in hearing about your experience!

    Question about applying for Roles

The 6 month wait time is for hourly roles - not the college program. You can apply to the college program once for every season (fall/fall advantage and spring/spring advantage). If you already applied to be, say, an attractions cast member 3 months ago and the position is still open now you...

rejected. what can i do for next semester?

Yeah that's one of the things that makes me nervous... I was accepted this year but due to some personal things that came up very recently, I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving for the Spring advantage program. I'm just worried that I won't be accepted for the Fall if I'm able to apply then.

rejected. what can i do for next semester?

I would go through some of the different threads here and read tips on performance in the interview. You basically have to be enthusiastic and willing to work hard. They're looking for people who are upbeat, and not easily discouraged or unable to deal with a hectic work environment. Do you...

    Spring Advantage 2013?

I don't believe the 6 month waiting period applies for college program applications, though correct me if I'm wrong. It said online that you can apply once per session (once for both fall/fall advantage and once for spring/spring advantage). The 6 month waiting period is for hourly positions as...

    Spring/Spring Advantage 2013 Accepted!

I was just accepted to attractions for 2013 Spring Advantage! Now I have to make probably one of the hardest decisions ever... I'm really worried about having enough money to support myself while I'm there as my parents won't be paying for anything.

doing the CP with a mental illness

I think it depends on how you look at it xhananh. It might work as a sort of immersion therapy by which you'd be able to possibly deal a bit better with it as you become more accustomed to loud environments. Also a big factor might be what role you are placed in as well. As I think attractions...

    restricted rehire??

I would say that because you don't know your official status with WDW, you might have to contact the Casting Center so you can find out your official status.

    Very Quick Question..

I definitely think it helps that you have signed up for both, so don't stress too much! Maybe you'll even get regular spring without asking :)

    Character Performer Role: opinions?

My girlfriend was a character performer in 2008 and loved it. You aren't out in the heat for a very long time and are given plenty of breaks. There are even signals that you can give if you're feeling sick or anything of the sort - just don't abuse it!

    Very Quick Question..

You can contact your recruiter, or email wdw.college.recruiting@disney.com. Did you only apply for SA or regular Spring as well? Either way it's worth asking them!

    DCP Web-based interview rejection?

I've seen somewhere that if you give a call to the WDW college program or email them and they can reset it if you explain your situation. This would give you another shot to try again. If you do get another chance, I have seen that you need to use internet explorer to avoid problems like...

    PI Program/Other Options Post-graduation

What have your friends done since their CPs and PIs? Are they seasonal employees at Disney or have they found full-time employment in a different role there? I guess my biggest worry is if I do a CP and get down there, finish it, and have nothing to do and have to move back home. I don't mind...
