    Two Waitlists.....

I made an Oct reservation right at 7 months for OKW since that was all that was available, and waitlisted for a AKV at the same time. We have had to modify our stay, and now need 6 nights instead of 7. Should I keep the original waitlist since it has been there longer, then modify the days if it...

    trying to understand AKV

The 1 BR std view at Kidani has the sleeper sofa, a pullout chair in the living room, king bed in the bedroom and 2 full bathrooms. Occupancy of 5. We usually stay here as my kids are 11 and under and they could care less if they have their own room, plus the extra bath is awesome! I think it is...

    PAP/Renewals/FP+

I can't seem to find this particular combination through search, hoping my DVC friends will have the answers :) We used the $399 AP offer for our trip last year. We arrive 10/11 and 4 out of 5 of our passes are good until 10/13. I have a voucher for the same $399 pass to use as soon as the...

    $399 DVC Premium Annual Pass-Extended?-Speculation

So I got a guest survey today asking about my experience with the $399 PAP, asking the type of questions I would expect if Disney was researching to possibly continue this perk. I purchased 2 vouchers in Oct, plus upgraded my AP and 2 park hoppers we bought on UT, plus bought 5 PAP vouchers...

    Discounted Annual Passes

Having a tough time wrapping my brain around this. If I already bought an 8 day ticket, can I use the ticket for 1 day, then go to the ticket window and upgrade it to the PAP at the $399 price? We usually only go once a year, but the benefits might be worth it......especially since the 8 day...

First time DCL--Just back from Fantasy 6/30

We arrived in St. Maarten early that morning and headed off to breakfast at Cabanas. It was hot, muggy, somewhat overcast and windy when we arrived. We decided to rent a car and tour the island. I did get tickets to the Butterfly Farm because I had read it was better than the one in...

First time DCL--Just back from Fantasy 6/30

More of the same, breakfast at Cabanas, kids woke up kind of early. DS 10 wanted to see the Avengers, DS 8 did not. The 8 yo went off to the lab and DD and I tried to meet up with DH and DS at the movie--it was packed. We stayed about 5 minutes, so DD and I went to do the Midship Detective...

First time DCL--Just back from Fantasy 6/30

We had a lovely dinner, and ran over to get a family photo done during dinner, since we were at Royal Court and the photographer was right there. I can't find my photo CD, but will add the pics when I find it. The kids actually asked to take a picture with just the 3 of them. When we...

First time DCL--Just back from Fantasy 6/30

Sunday arrived, and we had nothing but the ocean to look forward too! Started out with breakfast at Cabana's. They had almost anything you could imagine for breakfast, except Starbucks :rotfl: I packed some Via iced coffee and some Via mocha packets and took one with me so I could get some...

The idea of paying Disney $300 to put us on a bus was  and even with some of the hassles, it was definitely worth saving some $$$ and being able to pick some things up along the way!

Fantasy Come True July 7, 2012

I was worried about that with my kids as well, they did okay. Don't forget there is also room service. My daughter ordered a bowl of mac and cheese almost every afternoon!

First time DCL--Just back from Fantasy 6/30

After dinner, we decided it was off to bed, we had a really long day, and needed to get some rest. For some reason I don't have a picture, but the towel animal was a lobster. It took a little while for the kids to settle in, but we finally all drifted off to sleep.

First time DCL--Just back from Fantasy 6/30

After our tummies were full, we wandered around looking for La Piazza, I wanted to book some of the grown up activities since we had a week of free babysitting coming up, we finally found it, and much to the kids delight, there was something for them to try out too! and then the whole family...

First time DCL--Just back from Fantasy 6/30

First stop our room. We were lucky enough to end up booking a 4B room, on deck 8, 8624. I was having some difficulty visualizing what 275 square feet would look like, but it was actually very well designed, and there was a lot of storage. We had to open every door and the check out the...

What part of Denver, Jill? I always get a kick out of meeting people that are Disney fans like us. One of my coworkers is about 25 and in college, and his parents are DVC members. He totally gets my DVC love...... We are down south in Parker.

    Character Meal with no kids???

I haven't done it without kids, but I thought doing 1900 Park Fare for dinner would be kind of a neat date night. It is themed like Cinderella's Wedding reception and also has Prince Charming. It's buffet though if that is important to you. IMO the GF is the most grown up feeling resort...
