My son is almost 5 and has autism. We talk openly about him being a “different” kid and about him being autistic. When we’ll go to Disney, I just plan on using the DAS for long line-ups and such, combined with Fasspass but not all the time either. My strategy is just to go with the flow...

Since when an Autistic person cannot “browse” in a store or impulsively “grab a snack”??? My son is 4 and he is autistic and happily enjoys that in Montreal!! LOL!! I can only imagine how overly happy he would be doing that in a store full of Disney toys or eating an ice-cream Mickey Bar...

Another vote for Daytona Beach! When we went to Disney in 2005 and 2006, we completed our vacations with a 1 week trip to the Beach! Very relaxing! Enjoy! :yay:

Hey! Last year, we always did the park that had EMH that day... It was mid- September... We did not find the parks that crowded, except the actual EMH at night in MGM... THAT was crowded! But it was fine during the day... Hope this helps, Enjoy your trip!!

Hello! We took a plane last year, rented a car, bought a cheap cooler at Wall Mart, got plenty of water, coke and beer. And we left the cooler in Disney at the end of our trip (I wonder if it is still there... Hum, lucky him!)!!!!
