Difference between visiting seaworld on a night they close at 9 PM VS. 11?

Yes, the fireworks are always done a few minutes before they close AFAIK.

how to fit the x-mas shows in

Just be careful about the park hours that are posted on line. I have found them to not always be right.

Difference between visiting seaworld on a night they close at 9 PM VS. 11?

On the 11pm closes they have more than one show for some of the Christmas shows like the Christmas on Ice show. The earlier show seems to be less crowded so...

All Day dining - AP discount

I haven't heard great things about the Terrace Garden Buffet either but it comes with the All Day Dining Deal so what the heck, I'd say give it a try. As far as Seaport Pizza (I think that's the actual name) goes, I've always considered it a pizza only place. I just don't recall any sides per se.

Is 1 day at SeaWorld enough?

You could also take one of their tours. There are Dolphin, Sea Lion, and Behind The Scenes tours that everyone in the family might enjoy. I found it a great way to let the kids talk to the people who care for all those animals we see in the shows and exhibits.

    They have ruined Seaworld

Things are always changing. That's what keeps us coming back to any park. SUre the prices keep going up but what's new about that? As for the ski show, I was told at SW that the old show was discontinued when the bridge was moved to accommodate the fireworks and fountain show.

    Meal Deal at Sea World

They now have an all day dining deal. I bought ours at Voyager's restaurant for about $30 USD yesterday.

    Hero Salute

Happily, they're still doing it. I think it's one of the best thing they do there. I wish more places would follow suit. SW even starts the day with the US national anthem and all (OK, maybe most) of the employees and guests will pause and respectfully stand until it's done.

    So many silly questions

You don't have to rent a car. If you don't mind public transportation, the #50 Lynx bus will take you from Disney's Transportation Center to Seaworld for $1.50. They run every 20-30 minutes. A cab will cost about $30 each way. As far as what to see at SW, that's a tough one. I like the animal...

    Dinner with Shamu ??????

Snowy, I think what you may have done was what they used to call Backstage Stage At Believe. They don't have that anymore (at least the last time I was there). It's been replaced by more Dine With Shamu times. It doesn't have the reserved seat for the Believe show but you do get the Shamu demo...

SW - what "things" are cash only?

I don't know of anything else that requires cash. I don't know if it's still the same but I do remember that things like tours can be paid by cash or credit card but not debit card. They do have ATMs in the park if you need them.

    SWF Belugas

I think SW has changed their shirt styles and colors. I know that in the past, I've spoken with at least two women at Wild Arctic who were wearing red jackets and they said they were with the education department. I guess it's not all that important but I still wonder why they're not allowed to...

    SWF Belugas

Are those the people in the red jackets? Why do they call them educators and why do you think they're not allowed to say what really happened to the whales?

Tips on how to plan my shows

If you can find one of their ambassadors around the entrance(they were wearing a sort of peach colored shirt when I was last there), they seemed to be eager to help us plan our day. They picked out the best sequence of shows to see and the animals exhibits as well for us.

    Saving a Species Tour

I've heard that the Saving a Species, Predators and Polar tours are being replaced by a 1 hr. Penguin and a 1.5 hour Behind the Scenes tour. Check the web site.

Dine with Shamu, or Backstage at Believe?

I paid $39 (adult) and $19 (kids). BTW, it looks like they're doing away with Backstage @ Believe and replacing it with more Dine w/Shamu times.

Does the rock music hurt Shamu's ears?

Ya, I was just having fun. Out of line? I don't think so. Since when is am I not allowed to post my opinion? If you don't agree with it, oh well, c'est la vie :confused3

Does the rock music hurt Shamu's ears?

I'm just having fun with you, DixieDolphin. I'm sure you have your concerns about the music and I'm sure some folks agree with you, I just don't happen to be one of them. I enjoy the Shamu Rocks show, loud music and all  Not all criticism and dissent is healthy sometimes it's just...
