    Budget Trip for first timer...

We will not fly Southwest. Both my husband and I are larger people and I will NOT be humiliated by an airline...

    Opinions for first timers?

It seems that we can do a value resort for about 1167 (with park hopper which is probably worth the $80 diffrence!). If we get dining it brings it to 1635? I'm not sure if that is worth it... We probably won't hang out the pool all day, and a romantic atmosphere is out of our budget...

    Opinions for first timers?

Yeah, free dining would be cool, but not an option for now, as we cannot go until at least Novemeber, any possibility they will offer it again?

    Opinions for first timers?

It is just me and my husband, we are both in our 30s and are about to start our family and thought it would be nice to go before we have kids. Since we figure the exprience will be so diffrent. We can travel in November or later, we farm so we are home until growing season is over. We...

    NOT free dining question!

We cannot go until November (because we farm) so no free dining for me? What is the least expensive time to go otherwise?

    Opinions for first timers?

For a first time vistor who needs to go on a budget, when is the best time of year? On-property or off? If the hotel has shuttles do you need a car? Oh, and if I cannot figure it out cheap enough I don't get to go, so a little inconvience is probably better then a LOT of money...

    Budget Trip for first timer...

Last year we were considering an October honeymoon at Disney. The day before I was going to book an package (Wilderness Lodge & 6 days w/Dining) we got a call telling us to wait. Which we did, and ended up going to Italy on someone else's dime for our honeymoon. It was fun and wonderful, but...

can you take leftovers back with you?

If you thought this might be a problem why not bring your own "unsquishable box" Most carryout desset boxes are pretty small. So why you left the restuaranut you could descretly put it in your backpack in a container you brought. You even could bring a little icepack and rubberband it to it...

    Italy or Disney!

From what I have heard from people who went two years ago the confrence runs pretty much all day, then they house you in the country on farms ect, so there is no real sight seeing in the evening. Then you are in Turino not Rome, so I'm not sure how much you would sight see beyond the Fiatte...

    Italy or Disney!

:rolleyes1 stroll through Italy at Epcot :rolleyes1 I totally agree, Disney is not the #1 honeymoon destination in the world for nothing :wizard: Unfortantly, it is an honor to be nominated and going would be very important to the business we are tring to start. Only 5,000 people from...

    Italy or Disney!

    SOO Frustrated!!!!

They all drive new cars? Ask them how much their last car cost. $30,000? Remind them it lost $10,000 in value the second they rode it off the lot. You're going to go on a lot more rides, which are a lot more fun, and it will cost you a lot less! Remember when Stupid people start...

    Signature suggestions?

We are planning one or two signature meals on our trip. Since we will be there during the food and wine festival, I figure we will graze through Epcot for lunch the two days we are there, then we will have CS meals for supper two days, and that will give us 2 extra TS we can use for sig...

Have you ever had a shock?

DONE! :cool1: 178 pages! and 2 weeks... I have to say I agree a child saying "No" may not be expressing boundries but playing a game. My little neice is 3 and will run up and say "tickle me!" or "burt me!" (zerburt/rasperry) and you'll pick her up and she'll giggle "no, no, no!"...

    Bad Grades

In my university, in my major we were required to maintain a 3.0 to recieve our "proffesional" degree (architecture). This degree is required to take the exam to become an architect. So either you got a 3.0 in major classes (2.75 overall) or you went to grad school to get a Masters so you...

    Booking Online?

My DF is in the middle of trying to sell our house. I keep telling him we need to book 6 months out! He is nervous because all our ducks are not in a row yet, but I've been saying, if worse comes to worse we just loose $200. He is for waiting a bit longer, I am for booking next week...

    Booking Online?

When I go through Disney's site to book... Does the price they list include taxes and fees, or should I expect to pay several hundred dollars more? Also, is the vacation insurance extra or included? That was confusing to me. Also, is there anyway I can see what the AAA price would be for...

    2 resorts - 1 dining plan?

We are going round and round on this. We are thinking of doing 4 days at POFQ and 4 at WL. This will keep our package price under our mind's "Comfort Price" Point. When I priced it on line I said buy a 9 day ticket with the first resort and then none with the second. Which of course...

Anyone else here eat Organic foods?

Remember with Trader JOes that a lot of what they have is not organic. So buyer beware. For eating Organic the most inexpensively, we eat mainly from local farmers (evern if not certified) in the summer and fall. Ever heard of a CSA? Then for snacks you really need to process or make...
