Where should I take my 5 yr old to eat for his 6th B-day?

We'll be making our 1st trip to WDW and was wondering if anybody had a good suggestion to where to bring my son for his birthday during our vacation in April? He'll turn 6 during our stay and it seems most of the character dinning is geared towards young girls but maybe I'm wrong? Any...

    I need character dinning help

I have a 5 yr old boy and a 8 yr old girl and it sounds like we need advance reservations to dine with the characters at the more popular restaurants. What places would you suggest that I try to get a reservation? I have no idea or where to turn to. Thanks in advance.

FREE trip to Disney but at Swan and Dolphin

Verallta - I'll try to make you feel more excited. The D/S is a very nice place to stay from what I've heard from friends with kids who have stayed there. I've never stayed there but I am for the 1st time this April for 9 nights. You still get the Disney extra park hours and it's a great...

We're booked and this site saved me $$.

I booked my air tickets a month or so ago. We're heading the WDW April 7-16 for a family trip. So I started researching about WDW since I'm a novice and my only other family trip down to WDW was a long weekend 3 years ago and we stayed at a time share 5 miles away. Anyways, from this forum I...

What are the crowds like for April?

Oh well, too late now and it's the only week that will work since I'm not going to take the kids out and miss a week of school. We'll make the most of it and be very patient. And who knows, maybe it won't be so bad. Most schools have break in March and I heard the week after Easter is usually...

What are the crowds like for April?

I know some schools have Spring break but in general is the crowds terrible in April? We're heading down from the 7th-16th. I believe it's the week before Easter. We have no choice but to do it this week. We may be in for a rude awakening but oh well. Just curious if anybody knows what's it like...

Swan/Dolphin 2006 discounts and how to understand them updated 06/05/2006

Sorry to get off the topic a bit but your title about the Swan/Dolphin caught my eye. It sounds like you have stayed here before and I'm curious about your thoughts? We are heading down to the Swan in April and I did take advantage of my Gov't discount rate of $175/night. For the value I...

Park tickets question from a WDW virgin

I'm by no means a WDW veteran. Does Disney ever offer discount tickets or is there a place to purchase discount WDW park passes? My family of 4 will be heading down in April for 9 nights and I'm looking to get any deal I can. I don't think there are discount passes but I tought I would throw it...

    Dolphin or Swan?

Same resort but which one should I stay at with 2 kids? Any preference? I get the Gov't rate which is unbeatable and it's a great resort. I 'm not sure if it matters or not which one to stay at.
