Soarin' is done!

Soarin is my fav ride in all of WDW, and we are missing the opening by a week! We will be there June 2-8 and just missed it! Like you, I cannot afford to turn around and dish out more money for a trip this year. So upset that we are missing it!

Are you going to WDW again in the future?

Pretty pleased that I was just able to score FP+ for the 17th (day we start the drive home). Wasn't planning on a park that day, but I guess we'll just start out later now. Someone had to have canceled their's because there was no morning time available last night.

Sounds like you got a little for your last day at Disney. I agree with you, your home can wait a few hours.

Me thinks since the Rivers of Plight opening date announcement/whoops just kidding, that we may get very little advanced official notice of Star Wars fireworks, FEA, and Old Soarin openings.

I REALLY hope they will play the old film, my Mum isn't very in to rides but I know she would just love it!

You would think they would just make this decision on whether or not to show the old film. Why does everything have to be such a big secret, DISNEY??? Sheesh

It sounds like the current thought is that the old Soarin' may return Memorial day weekend, and fast pass won't be available until then? I'm an AP holder, and am currently booking some FP's for early June. I guess I'll book Test Track for now, but will switch to Soarin' if possible. I was hoping to see the new version in early June, but the old version would still be a bonus. We're already missing FEA.
