Hi Cliff! I've heard about FE but I'm such a newbie, not quite sure how this works. Does each family get something for every person in the entire group? Just the kids? Or I noticed something about having two groups? We'll be sailing on the June 6 AK cruise with two 5 year olds. Would love to get more information. Thanks!

You can deliver 1 FE Gift per cabin or 1 FE Gift To each occupant, it's all about having fun!
Since we now have twenty staterooms/families we will have two groups of ten. Vote at the top of the page for your preference on how to divide the groups. I will post more information for you.

Please update with the following info for my family. We have two staterooms (connecting). I have listed all of our fav disney and disney pixar character.
ALEXANDER, Kimberly & David (mom & dad) . Stateroom #7110. Our two sons and mothers are staying in the cabin beside us. Christian (20 year old son, is a UGA Junior), Peyton (11 year old son, 5th grader), Sue Jones(Kim’s Mom) & Jeanne Alexander (David’s Mom) Stateroom #7108. Allergies: food dye. Celebrating a family vacation with our Moms too. Christian will graduate May 2017 (early celebration) Peyton goes to middle school Fall 2016. Favorite Disney/Pixar Characters: Kimberly-Mickey Mouse/Buzz Lightyear, David-Tigger/Wall-E. Christian-Simba/Woody, Peyton-Mickey Mouse/Lightning McQueen, Sue-Goofy/Rex, Jeanne-Cinderella/Remy

Hopefully I am not overwhelming you with too much information. . . . But here we go again . . .

For those of you who have never done a FE exchange here are the basics:

1) Gifts must be given to each cabin on your FE list to be delivered at some point during the cruise. [Extra gifts (ie "Pixie Dust") are all optional.] You may do one cabin gift for everyone or separate gifts for each member. There is no minimum/maximum cost you must spend on these gifts. Please do so at your discretion and with no pressure from others. Get creative and showcase your craftiness and imagination. Gifts may also be purchased; they certainly do not have to be made by you.

2) Gifts are placed in the pockets of the fish extender found outside of each cabin. You are responsible for the acquisition of your family's FE and may either make your own or purchase one from someone via Etsy, etc. There are a lot of great FE crafters out there. 3) This FE group will be closed 30 days prior (effective May 7th) to sailing to give everyone enough time to finish their gifts. This can be flexible depending on how our group size is looking.

Two months until our Disney Wonder Alaskan Cruise!

Our current FE numbers are as follows:

Confirmed Staterooms/Families: 30
Passengers: 104
Adults: 61
Teens: 12
Children: 31

This does not include the following:
Interested but without listed staterooms: 9
Interested passengers: 28
Interested adults: 20
Interested teens: 4
Interested children: 4

So it looks like we will have at least 3 Fish Extender Groups of 10 staterooms each.

I plan to officially close the FE list on May 6/7, 2016. I will post the three lists here. Another poster has graciously volunteered to create a delivery map of the ship. I will post an image of the map here also.

We are officially closing the Fish Extenders Group list on April 25, 2016. I will send out the finalized grouping list later that week based on our final numbers and the poll results. Currently we are looking at 3 groups of 11 staterooms or 4 groups of 8/9 staterooms.

Thank you! I'm so excited! Glad I made it in time! I've been doing some research on my room - I'm a Disneyland Cast Member so I'm booked on a GYT or Guarantee room, but won't be assigned a room number until closer to 30ish days before the cruise. Will that make me too late to be on the list?

No that will not make you late for the FE Groups list. There is one other family that is also a TBD/GYT stateroom on the FE Groups list. Once you do know your stateroom number, please let me know so I can update the information on the list here. Since you are on FB, you can update the Google document yourself with your stateroom number, your other information is already entered.
