Babnanas 11: "Boo-boo's are OUT, Toast is IN….

Just for fun, for anyone who's interested (I know there are a couple of photogs on here!), I'm doing a picture-a-day thing this year:

http://365project.org/mariam66/365

Nothing earth-shattering (I'll leave that to PiO....) but some fun shots and a little window into my life. The shots will get better with the weather. My favorite subject is nature/landscape, and right now there's just not much out there to inspire me. :squirrel:

.
Way to go! I have several photography friends who do this. I'll be following your feed. :flower3:

I thought about doing the 365 project this year, but am doing a 365K word writers challenge instead. I'm taking several courses with my ladies photography group, the Chicks.

OK, I went and visited your page. Ended up signing up so I could follow you. I'm thatsusanchick. Guess I'd better get out the camera and take a few photos, huh? Thanks for the gentle push. :)

....well, aren't YOU all Miss Fancypants? You've got some really interesting shots there, I must say....I'm guessing that you live in a rural area...

Oh cool, thanks for following! :flower1: Some days are more of a challenge than others to get a photograph taken (esp. right now, I go to work, come home, do inside stuff..... Outdoors isn't particularly accessible or photogenic these days, and I end up with a lot of cat pictures!! :cat: )

Um.....you could definitely call it that. My town has a population of about 1300. We can claim a ski area within our boundaries (albeit a small one, but still....). And there are water and trail access points within a mile of my house in any direction! This part of NH is said to be the inspiration for all those "Currier & Ives" paintings, and Peterborough (9 miles south) is the basis of the play "Our Town." (I've never seen it but it's supposed to be hugely popular...:confused3). It IS a great place for outdoor photography, though! When the weather warms up (and the ice goes away.....) I'll be doing far more of that.

Cool! Love the cat pictures that I've seen so far.

I'm also doing a picture a day but on a FB group.

I checked out your pictures, @LegoMom3. They are lovely. But then....anything that shows countryside and/or cats or animals is a winner in my book.

Thank you! And in that case, stay tuned! There will lots more of that to come. The cats I photograph by default; they live here and when all else fails, photograph a cat! :rotfl: When the weather gets nice again in the spring I intend to be out much more. If we get a nice snowstorm, that's always good fodder, but right it's old, gray, blah snow. I have an eye for a good capture but even this is beyond my grasp. :headache:

Funny that you mention invading the outback......I think we might be heading to Uluru and Kakadu later this year. Want some red sand?

Well I for one expect a full photographic travelogue.

How 'bout a Huntsman?....in your shoe, perhaps?! Or, just hangin' out on your wall..... :faint:
