I was wondering about changing my MB color to get the appropriate image, too. Do RO reservations get luggage tags? In the past I didn't get them with RO. I'm on the cusp of the date. I'll be waiting to see.

Not barcoded for DME unless that is new. They send yellow paper tags for DME.

The start date is our arrival date. Just got our luggage tags in with our Mickey mail a few days ago. They were the old ones. Our MBs only have a few days left to customize, so they will ship this weekend or Monday. So, I'm betting our bands won't have the new tags in the box with them. Oh well, something to look forward to next trip.

Speaking of luggage tags, what writing instrument works best on the old ones? Just a regular ballpoint pen? Or do you use a permanent marker?

Each person gets one luggage tag. They are a hard plastic type material with an insert for your address and name.

• Guests who have booked and customized their MagicBands 6-9 days prior to arrival, and Guests who have not customized their MagicBands will recieve their luggage tags in their MagicBands box at the Resort hotel.
• Guests who have booked a reservation 1-5 days prior to their arrival, and Guests who have opted out of MagicBands will receive luggage tags at the front desk of their Resort hotel.

The space for the paper insert is approximately business card sized, and I use business cards on ours.

We arrive on Sept. 29 but are also from Canada so have no idea what they're doing with people like us and I asked in a Facebook group but haven't got a response. Does anyone here know if Canadians will get these mailed to us? We don't get our Magic Bands mailed but do get luggage tags mailed and I customised on time and still need to receive my luggage tags so you would think they would just mail the new ones instead of old, unless they are for sure only coming in the box with the bands.

We're arriving from Canada, too but not till November so I'm curious to see how it works out for you!! I really hope they mail them but who knows?

Just got Mickey Mail for our October trip. It has been awhile since I've booked a package. There is a nice new colorful book with a discount card inside, which is new to me. Also, no luggage tags were included. Previously, the package information booklet would included the tags and the id page you would cut and insert into the luggage tags. With these missing, I hope this is a sign of new tags to come.

We have a split stay, the first 2 nights at ASMo (9/29&30), then the next 14 at POR (10/1-10/15). We have customized magic bands for both stays. Today I received our Mickey mail for the POR portion of our trip. Info book with discount cards and 3 of the new luggage tags. However, all 3 tags are Mickey, not coordinated to our MB colors (which is fine, who doesn't love Mickey?)
I have only gotten DME mail regarding the first leg of our trip so far.

Maybe it is just me but the Goofy one looks terrible! Goofy looks sick or something! That being said the new luggage tags made me switch my MB color. I was going to get Orange and while I like the Pluto tag, I really want the Daisy tag so I switched my MB to pink.

I believe the only guests who receive the tags are those who have booked a package. We're DVC members so I've never expected to get them, but our upcoming trip in September isn't a DVC stay, and we did not receive tags. My son and dil have received them when they've booked packages including park admission. They're cute!
