Question can we bring homemade treats to give out wity our FE gifts I was thinking of making pralines (bc I'm from Louisiana) to go with the gifts I have for my FE but just wanted to make sure first because if not I need to find something else

We are doing it, lol! We started to train and got one day in It seems nothing is going as planned this summer, and classes just started again. Excuses, excuses! Just do it Amanda My new schedule is supposed to come out today. I am going to make a training calendar. If I write it down, I should stay on track a little easier. Even though Carly is in very good shape, she needs to train too. She is a sprinter and is huffing and puffing at the half mile point

wife is going to bring vodka and peach schnapps (just need the oj and cranberry juice from breakfast for sex on the beach) and I have not desided i will be on a cruise so probably some type of rum (coconut, spiced, white... i haven't decided yet! )

I am not a big drinker myself, so I haven't decided. I like mixed drinks, so it will be some kind of rum or vodka. I really want to get the drink of the day every day, so I may end up not bringing any for me. My hubby, however, will most definitely be bringing a bottle of Crown.

Yep he'll be there! He is in charge of getting Castaway Cay 5K T-shirts for me and Carly. I read somewhere that sometimes some sizes run out. Not sure if this is true, but I don't want to chance it!!

We are bringing all different kinds of the small airport bottles. Our Walmart has probably 20 different flavors of things available right now. I was looking the other day and I will never be able to decide! There are quite a few vodka flavors, some fruity stuff, and several kinds of rum. My husband and I are both spiced rum drinkers. Our favorite is Sailor Jerry's Spiced Rum. That being said, I am not a huge drinker, and plan to have a Drink of the Day every day, and then we have the mixology class. I probably won't drink half of what I bring

I forgot about the mini bottles!!!! We discussed that on here before, I think.....I remember thinking it was such a good idea. How could I have forgotten it that soon? I am totally brining the minis!!

Ok......I have some coworkers that are from Louisiana. One of them brings a big box of pralines back from a shop there when she visits home. The shop packages them in cellophane bags that are folded over and sealed with their label. Maybe you could do something like that! Small, clear cellophane bags are cheap at Hobby Lobby or Amazon, and you could print your own stickers easily.

That is a great idea so it's ok if I do that just put an ingredient label done I'm so happy I cold kiss you lol I was so bummed out thinking I couldn't bring them

I am bringing Captain Morgan Spiced Rum shooters! I like Captain and sprite, so a quick trip to the drink station and I am set. Those are going to be my cruise drink. I may try a Drink of the Day, but I am hoping to not spend too much money on drinks after the drinks I bring myself. I'm assuming that Jake is going to bring some beer and some kind of liquor. I'm not sure what he will decide on. Since I am planning the rest of the trip, that is his responsibility!

Y'all I'm glad so many are doing the 5k but I'm not going to lie-I'm a bit sad b/c I wanted to do it and now I'm not sure I can I've been having foot problems for the past two months and just had a procedure done yesterday so I'm hopeful but at this point I haven't been able to run are even do my favorite HIIT workouts or anything for months. The weight gain from being an inactive lump and emotional eating over being depressed from this ordeal is a whole other story.

So last year we took Lemon vodka shooters and Firefly shooters. Those worked great for Lemonade, tea and sprite. I believe someone said if you take a big bottle on you can't take it off if was opened and not empty. That's the reason we went with the mini bottles...plus they were easy to keep in my bag so we always had some handy.

Now if someone brings on a big bottle and needs help with it...send out and SOS we can't let these things go to waste.

I'm so sorry to hear that! Maybe you can walk it. Good thing is you don't have to commit until we get on the ship. Hang in there and don't get depressed...we are your outlet for all things!!
