We've got Deluxe APs but we're out of DVC points! A year of Disneyland trips- updated 6/27!

I could have sworn that I had commented on the last update, but either I never got around to it or the DIS ate my post.

You really got a lot done and still managed to get a pool break. I love all the nighttime photos. I had never heard about watching the fireworks from the Storybook Canal Boats. Would you recommend this?

I am glad that I am not the only person who keeps Starbucks in business. I have a serious Starbucks habit. Now that I know that I can still earn stars on my Starbucks card while I am in the USA, there will be no stopping me.

 I forgot to post one of my favorite photos of the night:

I am addicted too! Earning stars is the best too. What drinks do you get?

::yes:: I would absolutely recommend watching from the Storybook Boats. They actually stop the boats so you see the entire show.

You guys are too cute!

Hi, my name is Jill and I'm a Starbucks addict. Iced Green tea, no water, no sweetner.

Back home I am a Caramel Macchiato girl for most of the year, but I love the Pumpkin Spice Latte in fall and then the Christmas coffees. I will eagerly await the launch of the Pumpkin Spice Latte as when this appears, it will be nearly time for my trip. The barristas at my local Starbucks know me by name and just ask if I want the usual.

In the USA, I could live on the Green Tea Frappuccino and I loved the Chestnut Praline Latte that came out for the holiday season last year. They trialled the Green Tea Frappuccino in our city for a couple of months about 9 years ago and unfortunately it was never rolled out nationwide and never reappeared.

I have to remember this. I think I need to make time to see Disneyland Forever a few times from different areas.

Hi Jill (said in sing song AA voice) :wave2:

Hi Jill, my name is Jenny and I'm also a Starbucks addict. Green Tea Lemonade, Venti, half the pumps or Iced Mocha, Venti, extra ice, half the pumps.

I do love a good PSL too. It just screams Fall is here! I need to try the Green Tea Frap. Have you tried the Green Tea Soy Latte? Its heavenly!

I am not an addict, but I certainly do like my Venti Iced Coffee with whole milk and four pumps of classic in the summer. When it's cold out I like a Grande Coffee with Cream.

Michael also isn't as addicted but likes the Americanos. Have you tried those?

No, but that has just gone on the list for September.

This is exactly the same with Graham even down to the favourite drink.

Corinna

Great minds! I tried a Valencia Orange with berries (the fruit, not syrup) yesterday. It was nice and refreshing but still full of caffeine.

And in the mind of a certain cab driver...

 :lmao:

Did I miss something on the WAY back to the grand?

No. This was the cab ride when we were at the Hilton that first night. :)

December update: I have been up every morning at 5:50, like I am right now as we can start the vacation as late as a few days after Christmas and I am having crappy luck. :( Right now one night is available and I have two active waitlists. Of course the one bedroom is open ALL of my nights but sadly we would only be able to stay 2 nights as the points are so high. For now I am booking something off property probably more close to Gabby as we were only going to do 2 days at Disney. I would be willing to do a split if I could find 3 nights together in a Studio but for now, it's not happening. Ugh. I really need a contract at the GCV.

For those following along in my work saga, there is sill no news. Tomorrow will be week 3 of official limbo. :upsidedow

Working on an update y'all. Happy Memorial Day weekend. :grouphug:

Nope, not your cab driver....Jenny's lol.

BOO! And using up that many points for 2 nights, lovely as the 1b is, is a killer. Then again we have outgrown a studio with the kids, after the 1 night in Hawaii...we will have to book 2 studios or hotels rooms if we aren't doing a 1b. Which bites.

UGH!

This sounds really nice. We only have the Cool Lime Refresha this year in the UK. Usually we get two out of the three available.

What a shame that this is refusing to come together. I hope that one of your waitlist comes through for you.

What a nightmare. I hope that this will resolve itself sooner rather than later.

That's right, your boys can't really share a bed anymore. My kids are shrimps so for now, they're ok. Are 2 studios less points for Hawaii? I am still wanting to make that trip work. We did decide today that we will return to WDW in October 2017! Michael wants to see AvatarLand and I want F&W. We had a family chat and for now, want to do an OKW/AKV split stay. I would love to score AKV concierge but have read it's impossible at 7 months and we want a Studio no less.

UGH is an understatement.

That bites. Did you interview somewhere else?

I did.

I like the Cool Lime but the Orange is better. Do you have the Hibiscus? That's nice too although my barista child doesn't like it at all.

:thanks: girl. Did any of your September days come through?

Me too, me too. I don't thrive in limbo or chaos.

After another shotty night of sleep it was rise and shine for me. I grabbed the usual coffee for my guy and I and assorted breakfast necessities for the kids: omelettes, cereal, fruit, bacon, and some potatoes. With full bellies we were off to Disneyland for the day.

Ignore the intense bags under my eyes. I felt great but my face told another story. :lmao:

We wouldn't be us if we didn't head straight to...

Guess where we went first? We are Indy junkies!

The side of the park was empty. Guess the thrones of people at the gate went to other lands.

BRTMM was a walk on!

This is what is on the opposite of the goat!

After BTMRR we decided to head to Fantasyland realizing that this might be as slow as it'll be all day long. Some cute ducks and pretty flowers along the way:

The natives needed a treat:

My twin sister:

Alice was our first stop. I adore this attraction :cloud9:

After Alice we ran into Chloe's main fella. If you know Peter Pan, he never has a handler and he never has a set location and time where you can find him. Chloe got lucky again this trip like she did in December. I LOVE how she just got right in there and started chatting and walking with him. :woohoo:

Time for some BLAB! How's my score?

I was a Galactic Hero!!!

But admittedly it's because the ride stopped. :lmao:

Next was Space:

After Space we were FAMISHED! It was finally time for our family's favorite: The Plaza Inn.

We got 3 fried chicken meals for the 5 of us; one with no beans and extra mashed. I am telling you, it was soon much food.

Fat and happy and needing a little energy we stopped at Starbucks!

Then back over to POTC:

We ended up with this gorgeous beast but I can't remember why. Joshua told me the ride broke down but I have no recollection.

After POTC we took the plunge on Splash:

Coming off Splash we ran into our friend who is a guide and got a photo with this Disney Channel star Jake Short from A.N.T Farm. Chloe had the biggest crush on this kid. WE also grabbed FP's for Splash for later that evening. Our timing was perfect.

It was time for a break at this point. So everyday when we took our midday break we saw this uber long line of locals waiting to get of of this Joe's ice cream. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was so special until we actually tried it. Its a chain of sorts and holy wow it's good!

I had hit my wall and was in goofy mode. Thought I'd spare you all another eye-bag shot but still share this very unflattering photo that Joshua took of me. :lmao:

To be continued........

Do you have the Hibiscus?

We had Berry Hibiscus the first year they offered this, but this has not been back since.

Did any of your September days come through?

Not yet. I have until the end of July before I have to make the decision. I am hoping that one of the waitlists will come through. I would be more than happy to stay at Paradise Pier for the second period.

Wow, the photos with nobody in them are great. I would love to see the Evil Queen at some stage. I have not managed to see many villains up to this point. I am hoping to put this right in fall. The ice cream looks delicious.
