Minor update, like super minor.....looks like our December trip will be spent offsite. We were totally unable to nab anything at the GCV before Dec 10 when our APs expire. Of course the week after is wide open. At this point Michael says we won't renew but I don't think he's thinking clearly. Gabby will be living there after all

Maybe Michael is trying to give Gabby some space? My Dad did this weird thing when i moved away to college and didn't visit and later told me he wanted me to feel like I was "free" of my parents but that they were always there for me. I see it looking back, but at the time was confused

After we got Chloe's book we headed back to DCA to meet the others. They wanted a Starbucks and we met here. Now Joshua's shirt is wet so I may have the details slightly out of order.



And now with the 5 of us:



It had been a super busy morning and everyone was feeling tired. We went back to the hotel and per usual you could find me here.



After a nice rest we headed back into DCA.



We decided to wait for TSMM which did not disappoint.





And another spin on Screamin'






It was getting near dusk and I love DCA at dusk. Heading through Bugsland to get to Carsland.





And finally to Carsland





We grabbed a little snack from the Cozy Cones; churros with hot chocolate sauce. OMG, so good and so rich.





At some point we must have grabbed RSR FPs because we all rode together. Its just awesome at night!









Guess what? Time for another Starbucks! I swear we keep them in business.





After that we hopped over to Disneyland. I really didn't expect us to hop as much as we did but I think with so many rides down....

And where did we land first?

BTMRR as usual. Its another one of those that takes on a whole new look and feel and night.



After we decided to try to ride the Storybook Boats during the fireworks. If anyone wants to do this ask for a pyroboat about 30 minutes before the show.



Sorry I didn't get any of the actual fireworks. I decided to be in the moment and forgo taking pics.

I had read that tonight was the final night for Inventions before it closed so we went over to say goodbye. I had no clue what a huge following it had. There were a ton of Comicon looking people taking loads of pics.



Michael, Chloe, and Joshua headed over to Space while Gabby and I took a drive on Autopia. I know, I know, but its another one that I love during the night. No pics though. We took it all in, chatting and soaking in the fuel fumes. I seriously wonder how long they'll keep this open without getting new cars.


We met back up and decided to call it a night.

Thank you, it was quiet but I like a quiet day. I was able to read and just be lazy which fit into the way I've been feeling.

I'm sure that Michael will come around to your thinking on the AP's. It's practical! Too bad you couldn't get the dates you wanted. This would be a great time to check out the Ayres Hotel! They have a new one in Orange that is supposed to be really nice!

Glad you had a nice quiet Mom's Day. Lazy and reading sounds perfect! ​

Fingers crossed for sure!!! But I think he isn't wanting another year of vacations being totally dictated by Disney and getting our money's worth. If he had a realistic idea of how often I am going to visit Gabby, he might change his mind.

Thanks lady! No luck so far and I am up every morning at 5:50 waiting and ready for the 6 am check. We can stay 5 nights with the points I have and can stay up until New Year's Day. ​

That's a good thought. He is more hand's off than I am but still really engaged. I tend to smother. ​
