Seriously, rD...come off it already!!
@MeridaAndAngus I think I would skip the late week yoga class - keep your legs fresh. Better to be a little undertrained than a little overtrained, if you will.
Looking for some training advice - trying to keep my goals in perspective
This week, I'm planning on 2 yoga classes, and *maybe* 1 short shakeout run midweek. I normally do best with at least two rest days before a "big" race, so my last workout will be Thursday AM.
Trying to get some perspective on whether this is pushing myself too much if I want to be fresh for a PR on Sunday. I've been working really hard on keeping up with my exercise habits to continue with my fitness and weight loss journey, but I'm concerned I may be pushing myself a touch too much this week to be well rested for Sunday. Maybe just one yoga class and the short shakeout run is better? My late week yoga class tends to be more intense, so I'm considering skipping that one to make sure my legs aren't too fatigued on Sunday.
