Show Me the Cupcakes!!!

They all sound yummy! It willed worth the trip to get some of them for him. Do they have the grey stuff cupcake at dinner too, or is it on a brownie instead? I've seen pics of both styles.

When we ate there in February, the cupcake wasn't available at dinner. The Grey Stuff on the chocolate brownie/cookie base was the offering. There's more Grey Stuff on this than on the Master's cupcake.

I had this lemon blueberry cupcake at the Boardwalk Bakery in March. I try not to be too negative here on the Dis, but I have to say... it was disgusting. I took about two bites and threw it out. I have a cupcake a day at Disney World, and I think this was the worst I've had in three trips. http://s624.photobucket.com/user/1cat0dogs/media/LemonblueberrycupcakeatBoardwalkBakery3.jpg.html

Oh wow. Well thanks for that, maybe I shouldn't try to track this one down after all! Was it the flavor?

It looks pretty, sorry you were disappointed. I like the Oreo cupcake at BW Bakery, but I have to say I prefer a buttercream frosting rather than the whipped frosting they use at the BW Bakery. I wish they had some traditional buttercream ones there as well, because we always stay at BWV and I like getting treats there. They have plenty of other things besides cupcakes, but I love me a nice cupcake!! :)

If you're walking from Epcot back to BWV and you're not exhausted, you could stop in the Beach Club Marketplace (the gift shop in the Beach Club). They have cupcakes in the refrigerator section. Not sure of the current selection.

Contempo cafe was selling a blue white frosting cupcakes inspired by Frozen. It was chocolate with caramel filling inside sprinkled with white snow flakes. This cupcake was amazing!!!!

Yes, the Disney cupcakes are heavy on icing and very sweet. Exactly why I like them!!! :rotfl2:

On a side note, we wanted to get a takeout cupcake from Starring Rolls two weeks ago (the Butterfinger is incredible), but they had no take out containers at all. No plastic, no boxes, nothing. Very disappointing. We've gotten take out many times in the past. Hopefully we just caught them at a bad time. (It was fairly early in the day, too.)

Oh dear. I was thinking we might make Starring Rolls our last stop before heading back to the airport. (Noshing on cupcakes on the plane might make ending our vacation a little easier...)
Does anyone have any info on the lack of carryout containers?

We prefer to walk back instead of taking the boat. I wouldn't mind stopping by Beach Club Marketplace to check out their selection, but usually I enjoy sweet treats from the world showcase at Epcot. Maybe on a day we don't go to a park though.

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!! I love anything pumpkin and I'm also going in July (like a PP!) I hope they still have it!

I love all things pumpkin too, any time of year. I mix pumpkin into plain Greek yogurt, add a little cinnamon and stevia and it is soooooo good!

I was in Disneyland last week(first time) and I was surprised I could not find a single cupcake that wasn't "plain"???? Everything was just traditional with blue or pink frosting. Was such a let down. I think I found one that was chocolate.

Are all these amazing cupcakes only in the World? I was looking so forward to some of these cupcakes last week lol

We were at Disneyland in March, and I felt the exact same way! For the most part the cupcakes felt quite generic...although the lemon bumblebee from the Hungry Bear was very cute...

I put together a list of Disneyland cupcakes for my blog, but compared to the Disney World list, it is very short. I guess cupcakes just haven't caught on on the west coast? :confused3

Star Wars cupcakes! I had one of each in the same day (May19). Gotta balance out the Force! :rotfl:

Had two cupcakes on tour this week. Darth Vadar cupcake at HS and Master's cupcake at BOG. Multiple thumbs up to Darth Vadar cupcake. I give a thumbs down to the size of the Master's cupcake. Loved the rest of the lunch at BOG.
