We'll be there 3 weeks from tomorrow. Relatively spontaneous trip; just booked 11/17.
Hi all!
Doing online check-in for BWV tomorrow and I was wondering what I should request for my room. We're staying in a standard view studio. I've heard that I should request to be near an elevator and was wondering if there is anything else in particular I should ask for.
Thanks!
You might want to request higher floor so you won't hear the noise from loading/unloading the luggage carts.
We were on the fourth floor, and were still waken up by the noise.
Can't believe more people haven't gone to white noise machines. Once adjusted to it, you can sleep almost anywhere. We can, and have, slept within 100' of an active train route and never missed a minutes sleep. Sent from my iPad using DISBoards
Very nice! Enjoy! Should be nice and quiet post the holiday crowds.
I have thought about it. But we'd need two since we are sleeping in two rooms.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, there are nice whitenoise apps that work really well. I used to lug my machine with me on trips (not that big, but it takes up room and I had to remember to pack it), but I always have my iPhone and iPad with me.
We were on the 5th floor both times we stayed at BWV in a studio. It was quiet at night.
Can someone tell me the best way to get to Ohana and MK from BWV.
I was planning on going to Ohana during our day at MK but am considering changing the park to EP due to EMH but am worried this may be an inconvenience. I read traveling to MK from BWV is a hassle. Is this true? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Deb & Bill said:Do you have a park hopper? You can go through Epcot (after the park opens for the day) and hop the monorail to the TTC. Then walk over to the Polynesian from the TTC (faster than getting the resort monorail).
Or you could take a bus from DHS to the Polynesian.
Or take a cab to the Polynesian.
Or take the bus from BW to MK and then the resort monorail or boat over to the Polynesian.
We don't have a hopper but will go to EP during the day and Ohana at night so could go through EP to the monorail. Is the monorail easier than the bus? (I'm traveling with 2 scooters)
