Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

If they would just open BOG lunch ressies for Dec, I could get all my planning done!

I got the email invite today to test the new system. However, I have already done my whole MDE, with my APs, FP+, etc. It said to customize my bands by 10/28 so hoping to get them next week. The email, however, says to customize by 11/17. We check in 11/28. So I am hoping if I ignore the email I will get them sooner rather than later.

We had the same thing happen. We had customized AND received our bands before I got the email and letter invitation. I'd rely on the date MDE is giving rather than the invite!

Got our bands today. Arrival 11/22. Got email Tuesday to set up MB, snail mail Wednesday, no email saying they shipped and they arrived today. My last day to customize was yesterday.

We arrive 11/24 and I got the invite email yesterday. The website said my MB had to be customized yesterday - email had a diff date.

You might as well. They offer them to everyone upon checkin anyways. At least you get to pick your colour of MB. I would still ask for a KTTW card for regular fastpass at check in anyways.

Yep they are customized already and I received the email that they have shipped. Thanks for the info!

I'm thinking you might want to call and ask if you don't want the grey plain ones. Otherwise I could see you having to go to the original resort to pick urs up. They might send them but I wouldn't think automatically... I'm more of a pessimist maybe.

Count me in to the group that received the invite email today. Needless to say, I had already customized our bands and set everything else up about a week ago. We're all set with our check-in date on 11/29. Can't wait!

We used our resort reservation number and had no problem at all getting a lunch reservation for Nov 30th. It is our arrival day and hopefully the plane lands on time. Our flight is scheduled to land at 11:30am and the fp window is 1:20 - 1:50pm. We'll be at the WL, so it should be a pretty quick trip to MK once we get checked in. I'm really excited about it, although a day in December would probably work better.

I have until Nov 19th to customize bands, which seems a little close to our travel date, especially with the Thanksgiving holiday in there. I hope they ship Oct 30th, like our MDE account says they will.

I wonder if they have started to invite December check ins yet.

I'm sure they'll ship on the 30th. I had until Tuesday, the 23rd, per the website, to customize. On the 22nd, I received the email invitation and on the 24th, I received the letter invitation by mail (they both said I had until 11/12) -- also on the 24th, I received an email that my MBs shipped. Per the tracking info, they're sitting on my front step as I type this -- can't wait to see them when I get home!

Where do you find your reservation ID number? I've done the online check in and all I can see anywhere is our original confirmation number and that doesn't work.

If you ordered your magic bands, the number is there. It starts with a 4 and is a 12 digit number.

Thanks! That worked. I was able to make a lunch res/FP+. Though it doesn't show up in my itinerary or reservations after a couple of hours. I took a screen grab just in case (though that probably wouldn't help with a CM).
