Your trip has gotten here so fast! This summer has flown by. I'm actually bummed about that. I'm not ready for school to start back.

I'm not sure what the weather is doing in Florida, but we have had a blast of fall here and it is HEAVENLY!!! I hope the front went all the way down South for you. We are going to have highs in the 70's all week and low humidity!!!!!!!! That is absolutely unheard of in August. It's been a weird weather year for sure. I'd check on that forecast again and see if this front is headed for Florida. It was like 95 yesterday and the air was so thick, you could hardly breathe , and then we woke up this morning to the most crisp, cool air! I'm loving it!! Hope it's headed your way!

Oh, and just wanted to tell you that it's official... we ARE going on our trip! I was willing to be the responsible adult and forego it this year, but DH was NOT having it. So it's on!!! We even added an extra night to the beginning of the trip and we are going to try out AoA... for research purposes of course... I know it's 'just a value resort', but I am really excited about getting to stay there for one night.

So how's the packing coming? This has to be a record for you for the longest those suitcases have sat empty!

I know, summer has flown by and I don't like it!! But, one good thing - my vacation is nearly here!!! Can't believe it!!

It is chilly here. It might be 60 degrees. Should hit the low 70's sometime today. Crazy for mid August!! I bet it's even crazier for you! Not sure I'm going to be very well prepared for the Florida heat!!

Congrats on the trip being on!!! That's awesome! YAY for your DH putting his foot down!! That's great that you'll be able to check out AOA! I just told DH the other day that I would like to get over there and take a look around if we can find time.

We have cool weather here as well!! It's been raining for days, and this morning I'm sitting out on the deck with a blanket, cup of coffee, a sweat shirt and I'm still freezing! That would be wonderful if its nice and cool for WDW for you Shelly!!!

It surely isn't that I don't want to go, but vacation is a big chunk of $$$ no matter how you slice it and I always doubt myself on weather or not I need to let go of that much all at once. I'm always thinking, 'what if this and what if that!' DH finally told me the other night to stick a pipe in it, suck it up and pay for the dang trip already! So how can a girl argue with that??? What can I say... I'm weak... If the entire world economy crumbles while we're gone and we lose everything we have, at least I'll still have my Disney memories. Now all day I'll be singing Frank Sinatra's "They Can't Take That Away From Me"!

The weather forecast is still typical southeast USA summer. Don't get too worried about the rain. Chance of rain is in the forecast pretty much every day from June to September. Doesn't mean it will rain! If there is a 40% chance of rain, there is a 60% chance it won't rain! And if it does rain, as I'm sure you know from past trips, it usually lasts a very short time, cools things down a little, and chases the unprepared away! And we all know you are the definition of prepared!

I love your new clothes! I'm like you - when I find something I really like, I buy it in several colors. I don't remember your first encore dress (the black one). It's really cute!

That looks like a great bag. What brand is it? It looks like a good size and something I might like for my CA trip. And Disney, I almost forgot! You see how unprepared I am for that trip?

Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. Maybe I should be, but I'm not! Hopefully it will be just like you said - a passing shower or storm in the afternoon and that's it.

Thanks! I do tend to get 2 of something if it fits me well. Given my size, it is hard to find things that fit right and aren't too long.

The bag is Kipling. I searched long and hard to find something comparable to what I had, something in a neutral color, and something light.

You better get prepared, your trip is right around the corner!

Great shopping purchases! I can tell you went shopping at the LOFT. I have a couple of the same pieces of clothing. I just bought the same brown dress for our upcoming cruise. I really wanted the dress in pink but they didn't have my size. Hopefully the rain will be more in the way of showers.

I am going to the CBR in the first week in March. I can decide which building in Jamaica to request # 44 0r 45. #45 is closer to the bridge, but it looks like # 44 has a beach area. We are mid-age couple going without children. Any room recommendations? Thankyou
