Anyone want to join a mixology group? We have a group of sixteen over on the fb page but need 25 for a private tasting. Fb group is called disney fantasy eastern carribean oct 5th 2013.

Couldn't see anything on yahoo and I didn't want to add it on there and cause confusion lol

Going to ask for it in an afternoon on a sea day.

Just for information regarding the fb group as I know there are security / privacy issues. The group is a closed group- this means only members of the group can see what is posted in it.

Sorry, but Facebook's reputation regarding privacy/security is not exactly overwhelming, which is why we decided very early not use it for our cruise activities.

That's fine- tbh I was pretty anti Facebook until I ended up joining the fb group from last October- made so many friends through it but even now I rarely post anything on the regular Facebook page. Just wanted to reassure people that although nobody will be mentioned on there who doesn't want to be that nobody can see anything anyway.

I am not sure if I am not using yahoo correctly but is there away to chat with people?

If you want to talk with one person, you can select their name from the members page and send a message.
Another option is, we have the other thread that is not being updated any longer (because of Tiggerb's unfortunate cancellation). That can be used for chatter that people don't want to clutter this thread with.

On a side note though, the way you describe your FB experience from your last cruise is exactly how I would describe my experience thus far with this DIS and the Yahoo group combined.
Just my 2 cents. The ways for people to connect varies as greatly as each individuals personality.

You are never going to believe the phone call I got this morning

A Vista Print representative called me in response to my survey response.

She wanted to apologize for the difficulties we experienced trying to get the shirt design shared with the group.

In doing so, she told me that "she" (it was made clear that she was the only one with this capability) could have set up the proof in a manner that it would have been shareable. Which would have solved all of the issues they created.

She shared this piece of information with me thinking that it would leave a better impression of Vista with me. Instead of the opposite effect that I now feel.

Why could they not have transferred me to this person originally when I asked if there was anyone who could set this up for us

When I got off the phone, all I could do was laugh.

Everyone loves their orders, orders that were incorrect, where made right, and after over a month, they find a solution to the proof share problem.

All in All, it was a great deal and a nice product, but UUUGH!!!!

Today I printed our personal itinerary, but I'll also put it on my iPad as a pdf.

I just bought 6lbs of German chocolate. A German coworker of mine fell in love with another coworker from our Denver-Office and transferred there about a year ago. As I have a lot of room in my suitcase on the way to Denver I offered to bring a survival kit: Chocolate and a huge stack of German magazines.

Later this week I'll buy more chocolate and gummibears for the coworkers I have meetings with.
