Disney Gift Card Deals

I am on the lookout for any Disney Gift card promotions through HEB (Texas). Does anyone know of a current promotion or when the next one is expected? My state does not have HEB, but my sister and daughter-in-law shops at them and I could get some through them.
Thanks!

Nothing at HEB right now. Last graduation (2012), they had a $15 off $100 for any gift card. This year, HEB limited it to 6 or 7 cards, and not Disney. If some Disney offer drops, it will be a thread on here. The last time HEB had a deal was the $15 off $100 or $50 off $300 deal back in November/December (which were stackable with a separate $5 off $50 Facebook Mastercard coupon), so they are due another one soon. We've seen GC coupons for Disney in December 2010 (33% off), May 2011, July 2011, May 2012 (15% off), and November/December 2012 (17-20% off).

And if HEB doesn't bring back a coupon in time for you, consider the 20-28% off at Target for $50 Disney Gift Cards that happens on two consecutive weekends each December.

Hi there! Just had a quick question - what is the "Disney corporate partner website"?? I googled it but came up empty :) I'd love to be able to save 10% on tickets as you mentioned above. Thanks in advance

The corporate partner is going to be a place that one works at that provides discounts to Disney. Disney has various corporate partners (not sure if ValpoCory will advise which one he works at) that they give discounts too. Everyone should ask their employer to see if the employer has a similar discount :)

Employees of Corporations Sponsoring Disney Attractions. If you work for Coke, GM, or another company that sponsors a Disney attraction, or a company that contracts with Disney, see your Human Resources Department before you go and ask about any current programs.

I work for IBM (sponsors section of EPCOT Future World). For Disneyland, we get 5% off 2-day passes and 10% off 3-5 day tickets. For WDW, we get 12% off all tickets. It's a true 5%/10%/12% discount off the current Disney website prices, unlike some employee discounts like Beneplace, which offer 10% off, but then tack on fees and taxes to eat into the discount.

Do you know if retired IBMerss can take advantage of that? Or is it only for current employees?

IMO the advantage is buying the gift cards during a promotion or with a coupon- that way you are essentially getting a discount off....stretching out the dollar more for Disney. :)

That's the biggest advantage. Some people buy them for budgeting purposes, but for me, it's all about saving money.

We are the same way. We try to maximize savings and the gift cards seem to be the way to do that when they are discounted.

Has anyone successfully purchased the gift cards online? I just looked and it says not available online.

Just checked quick rewards, they offer 4.10% back from Target and Disney gift cards are one of their payout options.

What is this website and explain what you mean, please?

I did the Target 5% and the Target 5% pharmacy to buy Disney gift cards in the strore to pay for a Diz cruise. about $2400 worth. Took $240 off total. If I bought online at Ebates, i could have gotten ebates (2%) to send me a cash check for about $48. Darn it! But you are saying if I used your quick rewards site I could have gotten 98.40 in Disney gift cards, correct?

Right. Quick rewards offers cash back for shopping just like Ebates. They are offering 4.10% cash back for Target.com.
Also, unique rewards is offering 4% and according to their website they pay an additional 10% bonus for all actions completed during the first 2 days after registration in their program.

Perhaps those who have done it already can answer better but, first I don't know how many gift cards you can purchase online at one time from Target for use of pharmacy reward. And if it can be done I don't think the percentages off would all come off your beginning total. It would be more like 5% off 2400 for pharm reward = 2280 then 5% off of that for red card = 2166, then 4% cashback= 2077? Anyone know for sure how the calculations are done with multiple discounts?
Also, I am new to unique rewards so I have no idea how their payouts perform but quick rewards does offer the $25.00 disney gift cards and does payout as advertised.

I just tried to buy target GCs online with my red card and did not save anything. The disney gcs are 5% off but not the target gcs and disney weren't available online.
If anyone else had luck, please lmk!

You're right. The 5% doesn't work on Target gift cards . It Only works on Disney cards because they are catagorized as "entertainment" cards, not gift cards and therefore qualify for the discount.

I saw them available once on Target.com but didn't need any right now so didn't order any. I checked to see if the discount would work and it did. when I checked it said there was a limit of 10 in one order.

They appear to be out of stock. Not sure why or if they will be available in the future.
