Disney Gift Card Deals

Throughout this thread, many have inquired about consolidating your smaller Disney Gift Cards into larger amounts. I wanted to let the DIS know that indeed you can still do this by calling the number on the back on the gift card.

My Mom bought 20 $50 gift cards for $38 each with her RedCard from Target during one of their annual December weekend sales, paying $760 total. This is her report after I advised her to call during weekday business hours:

She scanned in her gift cards and her receipts and emailed the images to him. Joey called her personally today to tell her it worked. She called the automated line today and indeed she had $1000 on one gift card. One reason this was important for us is that we get a 10% discount on tickets if you order on the Disney corporate partner website, which now has a 1 Gift Card limit, so we are glad to get to use the gift cards on the tickets.

Hope this helps. This is yet another reason to SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS when buying Disney Gift Cards, and don't throw them away until the Gift Card value is $0 with no chance at a refund.

Hi there! Just had a quick question - what is the "Disney corporate partner website"?? I googled it but came up empty :) I'd love to be able to save 10% on tickets as you mentioned above. Thanks in advance

The corporate partner is going to be a place that one works at that provides discounts to Disney. Disney has various corporate partners (not sure if ValpoCory will advise which one he works at) that they give discounts too. Everyone should ask their employer to see if the employer has a similar discount :)

I just got the new circular today that starts this Sunday for my local grocery store and unfortunately their G/C promotion of $10 off next order if you buy $50 in G/C doesn't include Disney. However, it does include Shell GC's which is great for us. We drive to Disney and there are Shells all along the highway. We will save 20% off in gas! :cool1: Hope that you guys are able to get that deal to at your local grocery stores. Just look for the upcoming circulars to see what your stores offer.

Ok so I use ebates to make purchases online. Target gives 2% back through ebates. So I get the 5% with my Target card and then 2% more through ebates and they are shipped to my house free. Win win!

That sounds like a great deal! Thx!!

Everything disney owns, I think you can even pay parking with them. You can't pay for dinner at restaurants not owned by them and I think there are a few kiosks not owned directly by disney that won't take them but for the most part they can be used everywhere.

I paid for parking at the parks in October 2012 with gift cards

Just checked quick rewards, they offer 4.10% back from Target and Disney gift cards are one of their payout options.

Does anyone know if you can use the 5% pharmacy online code for disney gift cards?

Yes you can. recently they started adding a slip of paper into the envelope with the card that has a code on it you can use online. So if you wipe your store out and still need some then come home and order them online! :cheer2::cheer2:

Does anyone know if I can use a $10 off $75 purchase coupon to buy the Disney cards at Target? The q excludes gift cards but I'm hoping it'll work the way the redcard discount works.

I am on the lookout for any Disney Gift card promotions through HEB (Texas). Does anyone know of a current promotion or when the next one is expected? My state does not have HEB, but my sister and daughter-in-law shops at them and I could get some through them.
Thanks!

They should work. I have never been lucky enough to get one but I have used other coupons to purchase Disney cards with no problem (i.e. the $10 gift card with a $50 purchase coupon that came out in December)

Can I use a $5 off $50 as well as a 5% pharmacy coupon and then the 5% off for red card at one time?

Both of these scenarios are perfectly acceptable! The "no gift cards" stipulation only applies to Target gift cards and Amex/Visa cards (which are technically the same as cash). Disney gift cards and those for other restaurants and the like are called "entertainment cards" in our system and are the same as regular merchandise.
