Oooo..old school! :thumbsup2

This is starting to feel like a 12 step program. "Hi...I'm Joe...and I'm a disney addict. It's been 6 months since I've hoarded Disney soap."

Oh if you're looking for 12 steps, I'm sure you could find some things to discuss in here. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

You are on a roll today, DisneyMom! Lol!!'

The running joke at our house is that if we are out of Mickey soap and shampoo, it must be time to book another Disney trip ;-)

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but you seem like the expert opinion I've been looking for. My sister and I are planning our annual August trip this time with some friends and as it turns out a cousin of ours is renting a house down there at the same time. Our plan, before hearing that free dining would be in september, was to do a week with our friends at the resort with free dining and then spend the week after with out cousin who has generously invited us to extend our vacation with her and her husband and son. We were also planning on doing a trip during her school break in October for food and wine festival/MNSSHP so we were looking into upgrading to an annual pass.

So after that novel my question is this: if we switch our plans around and book a week in resort from say sept 2-8 and decide to go to our cousin's house the week before, can we upgrade those park tickets to the annual pass and use them that week beforehand?

No, you can't upgrade those package tickets into APs until you check in for your package reservation on September 2. You can definitely upgrade those tickets that you will get with the FD package, but you can't get them a week early.

You can only pick up package tickets 3 days prior to the start of your package. This info can be found in post #15, section I of this thread...

You anticipated my request for visual confirmation. Impressed.

That was pre-free dining....and I started doing free dining the first time it was offered, and every time since. Some naysayers question the significance of historic trends and information. Disney411 has lots to say about that topic.

Looking for advice! Now that free dining is a definite does anyone see any reason why I shouldn't book the flights? We are arriving 9/25 and the flights are low right now and I'm afraid it will go up. I plan to call at 7am on Thursday morning to add it to my reservation. I'm hoping everything works out. I wish it were Thursday already!

The only reason would be the off chance that you couldn't get what you wanted for Free Dining. However, if you're flexible and have a backup resort or two, you'll be fine, especially if you're calling first thing Thursday morning.

I am so happy there are other people out there like me. In the outside world I am considered a freak, here I am normal.:lmao::rotfl::lmao:

I know what you mean!! Everyone thinks I'm crazy because as soon as we start pulling off property I start trying to figure out when we can go back. They are all like--aren't you ready to go home?? I'm like--what do you mean, I am home. LOL :drive:

That is totally me too. lol. And sometimes I start planning the next trip before I have even taken the current one.;)

I'm sorry if this has already been answered a bunch of times before. I was wondering when the Fall-Winter FD promotions (looking at mid-Nov) are typically listed by Disney? I want to say it is mid-July, but I feel like I saw somewhere it could be into August as well. Does anyone know specific dates when they've been listed in the past?
Thanks!

Definitely looking at around July for those kinds of dates...maybe even August.

We're planning to get a condo or townhouse within the next 2 or 3 years... we plan to move to Celebration ;-)

An hour away from Disney is just too far for us.
