Maybe they should try adding some Mango flavored (I assume someone makes this) vodka, then the pineapple juice, then the DW.
You guys are sooo bad! Why do I feel that many of the future guests at the Yacht/Beach club are going to be rolling around the parks singing "99 Sunkin Treasures on the waaaaall, 99 Sunkin Treasures!!!!". Of course this is coming from someone who totally buys into the plan to bring your refillable mug to the parks to keep those beverages cool!
Thanks! The other way you can mess with a small child's mind is to take jewels to Mickey's Philharmagic and catch them as they fly from the screen. I never did find plastic jewels to catch for my Niece but we never made it there anyway.
I always wonder if it wouldn't be a neat thing for a husband to "catch" some real jewelry to give to his wife in that attraction.... Think of how cute that would be!! Or better yet if you were getting engaged at Disney that might be the place to do it!
(See how
bad we are in this thread! First we are getting everybody drunk and now we are giving husbands excuses to buy their wives jewelry!)
In other news I tried to talk my husband into adding a night at the Beach Club for our June trip. He is till on the fence about the whole thing but it may be a moot point as the availability is just not there. I'm finding that the YC/BC is booking up earlier than I would expect so, if you are thinking about taking a trip in the future, it seems as if it's better to book as early as possible.
It seems to me that the best thing to do is book as soon as the latest discount offer comes out, rather than wait until you know for sure what your plans will be. So for us, that means that the discount offers determine when we travel versus us doing the determination based on the season or school schedule. For some people this doesn't work, but for us we get the benefit of the discount, which is usually offered during times when the parks are not in peak demand.
The other thing is to book early, before any discounts come out and then try to apply them after the discounts are revealed. Disney will apply the discount if applicable but the trick here is to call as soon as the discount is revealed, because only so many rooms at the resort are eligible for that discount. For example suppose there is a "Labor Day sale". For this sale the resort might only have 20 rooms available for the sale period at that discount. Once those rooms are sold, the discount for that time period is sold out and you might be back to the regular rate. I have seen Disney have a sale, sell out the rooms available at that rate, say that there is no longer availability for that time period, have the sale date end (Ex. Must purchase by such and such a date), and then more rooms become available for that same time period but they are charging the regular rate.
The other approach is to keep checking every day to see if something has become available, but the longer your stay the less likely there will be an open block if you book late.
So for the Beach and Yacht club, it's better to book early, especially now that demand seems to be ramping up.
