Exactly how are news events of the forthcoming releases made available, is this on the DCL website or do they do a press release of sorts?

It is highly unlikely anything will be released prior to 8am EST, when business hours begin. Maybe even 11am EST to give the west coasters a chance to be up and around for it.

So, my wife is on B2B cruises right now. Just finished 4 night Bahamas from Miami on Wonder, waiting to start 5 night Caribbean on Wonder today, 2/11/13. She spoke with the future cruise desk guy, who indicated that he did not anticipate any news coming out today, "despite what the disboards say."

I would suggest that perhaps we will receive information in about 2 weeks. Hopefully I am wrong, and all the information shows today.

Don't expect anything to appear on the website. As rumored previously, the itineraries were expected to be released possibly today with Gold/Platinum being able to book on Tuesday and completely released on Wednesday. The Gold/Platinum cuisers have to either call themselves or have their TA's call to obtain quotes and/or book the cruises. Nothing will be available electronically on the website until Wednesday (if released today).

I would expect if there is an announcement that it wouldn't be until closer to noon. Possibly in a press statement release or email to TA's.

No but it's past 9 am and there's been no announcement. Usually by now the platinum/gold cruisers would have posted something from their conversations with their TAs Just feels like nothing's happening today. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe next week or next month. Who knows.

Exactly. Nothing seems to be happening today. Seems like if they were going to release news of their schedule they'd have had a press conference, made a FB/Twitter announcement or posted something somewhere. It's 9am and nada. Oh well. Will just keep waiting.
