Diane...you're forgetting how BIG Texas is! North Texas...Amarillo, Lubbock, Wichita Falls get snow all winter; even Dallas/Ft. Worth...remember the Super Bowl a few years ago in Cowboys Stadium? It just doesn't happen "down here in South Texas"! (I think my little Goopy is pretty cute too!)

DH reminded me at lunch of the year (late 70's) the afternoon temp in Brownsville (southern tip of Texas) was 100; north Texas temp was ZERO! Later that evening our temp dropped 40 degrees in 30 minutes! That was also the year Christmas morning low was 14...AND we had a chimney fire! Had to get our volunteer fireman out on Christmas morning to put it out!

Lots of excitement around here this morning. There is a dead deer up on my hill and it is bringing in the coyotes and big birds!

Denise found the country this was taken in but it's irrelevant . Not really...it may help you identify the object; it does stand alone and it's not on a fence.
