As we get closer to sailing and if some of you are like me it also means a bit of shopping for a few new things for our vacation. Please feel free to share your great finds, coupon codes, free shipping codes and such. I love a great deal!! :goodvibes

One thing I will mention that I absolutely love for the girls. Lands End sells these awesome packable raincoats, packs into a pocket. They can be used for rain or as a windbreaker type layer.

Eddie Bauer sells a version for adults.

Those are great! But do we need raincoats??? I figure we'd just go inside if it rains haha. Does the rain in Spain stay mainly in the plain?

JP,

First, thank you and your family for their service! We appreciate all that your family has been willing to do! :worship:

B...Wow, 4 girls! And at some lovely ages ;) Bless your wife even more dealing with home while you were gone! We have 4 kids, 3 girls and one boy so I know it wasn't easy.

One of our girls is turning 13 in March! She can't wait to get to the clubs :) Hopefully they will meet :)

Howdy All,

Long time lurker here. Very excited that my family has just booked the EBTA. We're a military family and very much looking forward to some time off after this last tour. We've cruised with Disney one time before back in 2004 so we expect things will have changed. Still, we can't wait to get going.

BTW, it'll be me, my wife, and our four girls, 15,13,9,7. Can't wait to get underway! Is it May yet?

:rotfl2: It was windy and a little chilly with 6 days at sea and "no land in sight" in 2011, so they would be really great for that.

(please tell me that the image shows up or you're all gonna think I'm weirder than I really am. And, btw, that is actually what I do after each time I add a new cruiser to the roll call ;))

Welcome to you and your family :)

:welcome: JimmyL47! I'm guessing you'll be sailing with us :wave2:

I will indeed or I should say we will. DW Judith and I are both psyched and waiting for the trip. It will be my 9th Dis cruise and her 4th, we're spoiled and don't even consider any of the other cruise lines. We always book our next cruise while onboard and have already started looking at a back to back later this year. This seems to be a lively group and we are looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible.

Oy! Wow, that is gnarly! Glad you finally are sand-free!

I always tell men with kidney stones that it is their version of childbirth!

Well never having been pregnant I have no comparison. However, that was by far the worst. It was the size of a garden pea and extremely painful, didn't have a snowballs chance on Castaway Cay of passing. Longest 10 days of my life. Have had numerous since, most no problem and no pain, just a wierd sensation. A couple have been painfull, comparing it to a small explosive having gone off in my back. But they have yassed with outside assistance.

Yikes, that sounds like absolutely NO fun! Also, welcome, I noticed this was your first post :)

Yes it was, but I shall be reading and posting more often as the job has lightened up a little. It picks up again in a couple of weeks and then stays busy through April. However, I have the option, of which I am seriously thinking, of retiring in mid march. One would think that 38 years with the USPS was sufficient. But then again...who knows.

Actually my doctor did recommend beer. But then this was the "stone age" LOL Back in 1990 I believe.

I hear ya! I did have one tell us he can't recommend it, but said he'd be having one! Gotta love medical malpractice laws.... it's probably a remedy that's worked for many but just can't be "prescribed". :rotfl2:
