I would like to say I am loving this thread, so very helpful and making me so thankful and excited to be going here in August... First timer for the Lodge here, we stay at the Wilderness or a Mod usually. Got a pin and now we are staying in a standard room... Question 2 kids coming,.. 16 and 17 year olds in our tribe, anything oftered they may enjoy? The boy is a gym rat/ Jock, the girl is more lover of books and animals and knowledge... Any thing offered your children liked that mine might... Thank you kindly..

I think your daughter might enjoy the "cultural safari" where one of the African CMs talks about theit home country. I think it is held every evening, just have a look at the activities sheet.

It's really cool. They have a guide there to help you & answer any questions. The hardest part is waiting your turn... then giving up the goggles! I could have stood there all night!!!

The last time I made the purchase, they were 5 for $3.95!

In the refrigerator case, check the label to make sure you're not getting the ones that do not contain alcohol. While the amount of alcohol is miniscule, the ones without have an entirely different taste -- not to my liking at all - very bland!

And as Brandi stated, don't eat them cold! When at room temperature, they will melt in your mouth!

I just got them (and have already finished them) and they were 3.79 I think. Very delish, but a total gooey mess lol! I did not think to grab a napkin and instead I was licking my fingers clean while waiting for my ME bus. Oh well! At least none went to waste

I have to do it that way. The only way I can stay sane..

My dd6 is already asking if we can start packing. We leave in 36 days. I just realized last night I have to go through and look for clothes for ds3, I don't think his shorts from summer will fit him anymore....Ahh, this age is great, they wear things once and it doesn't fit anymore I like to pack way far in advance, but then I just end up repacking the day before because I forget what I packed...So silly!

Ok, so I have to buy zebra domes with alcohol, let them get to room temp, then have someone take a picture of me eating them, and post it here...Got it!

I am not a water slide person, but DH is...Is it true it will be open Feb 9? No big deal either way, just curious. I am just so happy the jacuzzi will be open...I REALLY missed that when I stayed at GF in october

One more thing...Is face painting every day? My dd6 goes crazy for face painting!!! She would love love love it! But I don't want to mention it, I think I will keep it as a surprise just in case!

I think only at Boma, but someone wiser than me will be along with a for sure answer.

What I DO know is that you can get it at Boma at dinner, too. : We had both juice and soda with dinner.
