The last time I made the purchase, they were 5 for $3.95!

In the refrigerator case, check the label to make sure you're not getting the ones that do not contain alcohol. While the amount of alcohol is miniscule, the ones without have an entirely different taste -- not to my liking at all - very bland!

And as Brandi stated, don't eat them cold! When at room temperature, they will melt in your mouth!

I just got them (and have already finished them) and they were 3.79 I think. Very delish, but a total gooey mess lol! I did not think to grab a napkin and instead I was licking my fingers clean while waiting for my ME bus. Oh well! At least none went to waste

Okay...... I just have to ask: what ARE Zebra Domes?!?! I've seen it mentioned a thousand times.... Never had one. We will be there in 23 days so I intend to change that soon ;-).

Zebra Domes are little pastries sold in the Mara (and possibly the gift shoppe I don't remember). They have white chocolate and amarula liquer in them. They are pretty tasty!

Yes it's true. I got a letter yesterday. Unimaginable slide down as of jan 14. We arrive feb 7.

2. Are kids allowed to have juice boxes with straws?

3.Does thid resory get a lot of

What I found on the website is if you do have a balloon you can check it with bell services to hold until you leave.

For straws, I don'b believe anywhere in the resort you will get one, but that said, they aren't going to go through your luggage & confiscate (sp?) the juice boxes if you bring them with you.

We've never had a problem with bugs in the room. Keep the slider door shut & you shoudl be fine.

I would like to say I am loving this thread, so very helpful and making me so thankful and excited to be going here in August... First timer for the Lodge here, we stay at the Wilderness or a Mod usually. Got a pin and now we are staying in a standard room... Question 2 kids coming,.. 16 and 17 year olds in our tribe, anything oftered they may enjoy? The boy is a gym rat/ Jock, the girl is more lover of books and animals and knowledge... Any thing offered your children liked that mine might... Thank you kindly..

I wish I could explain how bummed my kids are about this. I really had to sell them on AKL, since they liked the idea of the boat from French Quarter, where we were originally booked. I thought that my switch to AKL was going to be a grand surprise for them and they were like, "but we wanted French Quarter" . I stuck to my guns because I think they'll LOOOVE AKL, but it took a lot of showing off with videos and pictures of the pool slide to really rope them in. Now - no slide.

okay so didn't have a chance to look through every page to see if anyone else noticed the pair of eerie transparent ppl next to the guy sitting in the chair. I am sure it's just a weird thing that happened with the camera, but they look like ghosts lol

I just saw this Lol!!! and the stranger image is the hand resting on his knee, it's not his,Lol!!! kinda makes your head tilt a bit in "what is that " .... Not sure if the pic of the Christmas tree in Lobby and guy sleeping pic attached but it was funny you spotted that, I missed it completely..

We're staying at AKV for 1 night in Feb! We even have a savannah room booked.

Now, my question is: How long a walk is it from AKV studios to AKL's QS? I simply must have a Mickey waffle for breakfast!

Same for us!!! I'm pretty upset about it, too. Also - both of the water rides we love are closed. Takes away some of the magic.
