WEll, we got our final proposal back on the bathroom, I went over on the cabinetry by $100 and on the tile by $1,000, BUT! Some changes we made actually brought the labor down and my 10% Angie's List coupon brought the total down even more!!!!:thumbsup2

So now we are UNDER BUDGET and unless there is a horror story under the floor....Yippy Skippy!!!! This will keep me occupied for the next month..now what do I do with the rest of the year before the cruise? :confused3

Under budget! Always good... Thinking happy thoughts for it to remain that way!!!!

I just joined WW online hopefully it will be successful for me lost 25lbs last year got a lot more to go this year but am taking one day at a time. I wish you all some pixie dust as you set your goals.

Thats great....plus even being over on the tile and cabintry you have gotten what you really want and keeping the cost down to....cant go wrong with that combo...:thumbsup2

Well we just bought a stationary bike, and I have a treadmill in the basement (not being used) so going to dust off the treadmill and start sitting my behind on the bike, I think that should help me along. Next week will be somewhat of a bust as my daughter and grandaughter will be here. So we have a lot of plans for doing things. Going to the Shedd aquarium (can never spell that word) on tuesday. I have not been there since my kids were young. So that should be fun.

Have a good one, we are having our office "holiday party" this afternoon, we have been doing after the holidays, as its easier for people to come then thru the holiday season. It should be fun.....

have a good one

Yikes!! NOt $1,000...$300! I went from $1,800 allowance to $2,100 and in my caffeine-starved brain this morning that equated to $1000! Im awake now! :rotfl:
Still, not bad!!! I'm so excited for the reno to start....just two weeks from Monday...and I'm sure I will be ready for it to be done on Tuesday! :lmao:

I have an elliptical in our basement....plans are to start using it....regardless of what reason I can find not to...I'm GREAT at finding reasons :rolleyes1

Just did something to make Darling co-worker

Going to WDW over Columbus Day weekend, adding two days....yep....I love DVC, and I have enough miles to book both our tickets...and so does Sulley....so only cost is food....some days the planets really align!!!! :cool1:

By the end of February I will have 45.5 credit hours....thanks to Darling Co-Worker forever after known here as Evil Queen or EQ for short! :lmao:

Sulley and I both need to lose weight....Since turning 50 things went to pot...well actually, I guess since we quit smoking in 2006. then some mobility issues for both of us, and you know the end of that tale of woe! :(

But we will have to start slow. I have a bad knee and bad hip, so walking is the order of the day...if I can ever get my other half at work to show up....otherwise it's dark when I get home.

congrats on quitting smoking, it does put weight on you. I quit in 98, one of the best things I ever did.

No argument here! freed up money for DVC for one, Have you seen the price lately??? :scared1:

But that and some medication the doctor put me on screwed up my metabolism so badly....I have almost a whole person to lose...a small person, but a person never the less!!!

So here I gooooo......

How are we doing with the name votes??? Now that we are sailing

THIS YEAR

should we set a deadline for voting??? In order to give people time to do personalized stuff.

I was wondering what everyone thought about lanyards? One cruise I went on we did lanyards and I still use mine for my metro pass. What do you think...is there a use for lanyards? I live and work in the DC area and everyone has badges and stuff hanging from their neck, but I don't know about away from here...is it just a "DC" thing? Is it something that everyone would like even if it's just on the ship?
:confused3

I never use lanyards, but others may. On our last cruise a few people chipped in and bought the group wristbands with the group name and sail date. They were lime green and we were able to identiy ourselves easily on the ship. Just another option. Helped meet people we may have missed at the meet and greet.
